Who does this actor look like?

Me and my OH are watching The Haunting of Hill House and the dad in the programme, Hugh Crain (played by Henry Thomas) reminds us both of an actor. Jury's out on whether we're both thinking of the same actor!

Does anyone have any ideas? My OH is thinking a young actor in his 30s.

Not watched it but googled the actor and from only one image he reminds me of Anthony Flanaghan when younger

Went and looked up his pic before reading everyone’s answers and I agree that Eeelllliiiiioooot’s the love child of Kyle McLachlan and Colin Firth.

Had to look him up. My initial thought was he looks like Lee Ryan from Blue.

As another pp said Colin Firth but I also think there is a bit of Jim Carrey about him.

He looks like Andy in Modern Family.
