Who does this actor look like?

Me and my OH are watching The Haunting of Hill House and the dad in the programme, Hugh Crain (played by Henry Thomas) reminds us both of an actor. Jury's out on whether we're both thinking of the same actor!

Does anyone have any ideas? My OH is thinking a young actor in his 30s.

I thought it WAS James Fleet but when you know it’s the little boy from ET, there’s no mistaking him.

After a v brief Google this was what I thought.

I’ve watched a few tv shows and films where I thought ‘that’s the kid from ET all grown up’ except it wasn’t Henry Thomas it was an actor called Jeremy Davis. He was in Secretary, Justified and Saving Private Ryan. Might be too old to be who you are thinking of though!

Not watched it but looked at his picture on IMDB. Reminded a bit of Tim Roth.
