I'll start -

Ally has just inherited her Grandpaw's farm in the sticks. She plans to take some time off from her high flying job and commitment phobe partner to go and take stock of the building and sell up....

Under the tree is a huge odd shaped package with Trev’s name on it. Ally gives him a sweet look. He rips off the wrapping paper and reveals an old red sleigh.
Ally explains she uncovered it in one of the barns covered in cobwebs and that Grandpa would have wanted Trev to have it. Trev swallows and looks away for a moment. Snow falls.
Suddenly there is a kerfuffle outside and everyone turns to see Darcy and her three best friends leading the reindeer. They hitch them up to the sleigh. Ally and Trev climb in laughing, their faces sprinkled with snowflakes. Everyone waves them off.
After a hair raising ride up hill and down dale they reach a forest clearing by an icicled lake. A roe deer with her fawn is glimpsed through the trees. Trev reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small roughly wrapped package. For you Ally. Inside is his grandmother’s old amethyst engagement ring …

Ally throws the engagement ring to the floor and confronts Trev about his most recent affair with the local barmaid.

Trev really had absolutely no idea what has got into Ally. He doesn't even drink and hasn't been to the pub in years. Could it? No, surely his twin brother Kev wasn't back in town. And then he wondered, what if he Ally had he pair confused. What if Kev had also seduced Ally?

Candle wrapped in a cloth 🤣🤣🤣

After they realise that Kev is back in town. They go to the nativity which Trev,s daughter from a previous relationship who's mother is never spoken about is Mary

Ally's high school best friend who is small town girl though and through and never left has single handedly produced directed and done all the costumes for the play.

At the Nativity, Ally sits there in her Fair isle jumper, skinny jeans, cowboy boots And scarf. Is she going mad? Did Trev just change his clothes? But then both appear in the packed hall at the same time. She looks confused from one to the other. Twins, the penny suddenly drops. But why had Trev never mentioned that he had a twin brother? And which one did she now prefer? And in an uncanny coincidence, two Mary's also appear on the stage at once. Joseph looks befuddled.

This movie is moving waaay too fast.

We need an extending opening section where Ally - still in the big city - has a big challenge at her high flying job that means that she can't go on a specially organised date that her commitment phobe partner (he needs a name I think - sorry if I've missed it - it needs to be something manly but a bit arseholey - like Daniel or Rock or Max) let's cal him Maxwell like the house!

Maxwell is waiting alone at a small table in a very chic restaurant probably French and decorated for Christmas. Ally bursts in a whirlwind sits down and he thrusts a glass of champagne at her. She says sorry I'm late and then her phone goes.

Don't answer it says Maxwell. I have to says Ally it's Meryl Wintour my scarey boss.

You are all doing great , this is so fromagey, it has the Hallmark stamp on it!!! (I would watch it! Christmas movies are my gulty pleasure. Shhh! DON'T TELL!)

Mine too. I like the series of films were they focus on a different character but the other characters are still in the film. Can’t remember what they’re called.
