Mine is purple - slightly darker than lilac.

SuperDuperCabriolet · 22/11/2023 21:02

I think I'm looking for something a bit more neutral, but it sounds lovely!

Mine's pure brilliant white. Not very exciting but it's quite a dark hallway.

Ours was a random cream colour when we moved in and we've just kept it as that.

Our last house the hallway was turquoise when I moved in and we repainted it in Crown Egyptian Sand which I really loved. I would buy it again if I could be arsed redoing our hallway. Grin

BrassMonk · 22/11/2023 21:06

Overtly olive- it comes up kind of sage green in the light. Love it

Tumbleweed101 · 22/11/2023 21:06

Mine is orange. My teens hate it and won’t invite friends over because they are embarrassed at its brightness. I feel like that is a win for a quiet house 🤣.

Realistically it is due for a makeover and planning on white with a neutral brownish carpet or similar neutral colours.

muchalover · 22/11/2023 21:11

Painted beige after a small but very smoky fire incident last year which left all downstairs very black and upstairs mostly black.

Now that every single room has been desooted by repainting I have put an olive green tester pot on a couple of spots to see.

It's called 'chapel stone' and is a very slightly pinky neutral. It's a nice warm colour.

This is us too

Titsywoo · 22/11/2023 21:14

Mine is a blue-grey colour - F&B Oval Room Blue. If you want a neutral then Dulux Egyptian Cotton is nice - my kitchen diner is painted this colour and it looks creamy or pale grey depending on the light.

MonkeyPuddle · 22/11/2023 21:14

Ours is navy blue. It’s a dark hallway with brown carpeted stairs and I HATE IT. it shows up every rub mark. Planning on painting but 💰💰💰

Vettrianofan · 22/11/2023 21:15

Glittery paper with white through it. Wavy pattern
It shimmers in the light. Great for dark hallways and stairway with little natural light.

Pokinganose · 22/11/2023 21:16

Sky blue. Can't have anything dark because there isn't a lot of light.

Botanica · 22/11/2023 21:16

FB - Shadow White or Shaded White.

gano · 22/11/2023 21:16

Dulux overtly olive. I wouldn't recommend it if your hallway is lacking in natural light. My hallway's quite dark, and I find it a bit oppressive and dingy at times. Although I've managed to lift it with off-white accessories and furnishings.

Theredjellybean · 22/11/2023 21:18

Dulux polished pebble

JamMakingWannaBe · 22/11/2023 21:20

Dulux Daffodil White.
The colour is in our downstairs hall and up the stairs so it would be a big job to repaint it and I'm not sure what other colour I'd choose instead.

Saschka · 22/11/2023 21:23

Ours is this colour (not farrow and ball! Dulux. But this is the only picture I could find of a hallway in a similar colour)

gingerbubs · 22/11/2023 21:26

I did my hall last year, its string by f&b, with the inside of the front door and the panelling under the stairs in cord. I love it.

Aparecium · 22/11/2023 21:34

Believe it or not - magnolia. We must have tried 40 different colours, including brights and rich colours, but we kept coming back to magnolia. It just works. We love colour, but parts of the hallway-stairs-landing get bright light at some times of the day, other parts never get any direct natural light, and we needed something that worked all day and everywhere. We bring in colour by having richly coloured rugs and furniture.

daliesque · 22/11/2023 21:42

Navy blue. Very dark but looks amazing in our small hall.

SquirrelBlue · 22/11/2023 21:42

It's kinda beige but it's going to be pale grey soon! I found a sage green that I really like but the hallway's too dark to pull it off. I found the b&q own brand GoodHome has much lower levels of VOC (I think) so it doesn't smell as much as the other brands. Thank god, I hate the paint smell!

DilemmaDelilah · 23/11/2023 03:49

My outer hall (glorified porch 😁) is white painted tongue and groove on the bottom and a gloriously over the top William Morris print wallpaper in gold on the top. It is a very light area. My inner hall (stairs and landing) is dark, so is painted the lightest possible lilac with white woodwork.

WatchOutMissMarpleIsAbout · 23/11/2023 03:59

Little Greene rolling fog. Absolutely love it. Five years now and I still wouldn’t change it!

eatdrinkandbemerry · 23/11/2023 04:56

Putting green green but I'm in the process of painting it a very pale grey
