i read about this yesterday and also in the Sunday Times today. Weirdly, the Sunday Times reporter seems in awe of Diddy and sort of downplayed the allegations even though they were listed in the article. Disgusting allegations and it is tragic that it will be swept away as are all women’s allegations of violence by men, both those with power, and those without.

Well yes of course. I’m just surprised the journalist in the Sunday Times didn’t note that. He had been on a publicity junket with Diddy last week and seemed to have decided to treat the court case as a side show.

Rich, successful man manages to avoid rape and assault charges simply by being rich and successful.

It’s not right, but from the victims point of view a £ settlement which can pay for counselling & support vs the sadly brutal cross examination she would face in court I can see this is a pragmatic outcome for her.

I always thought their relationship was off. She was a lovely young singer, and she appeared to give up her career to trail around after him for a decade - yet they never married and she always looked miserable.

I know a woman who shagged him in a nightclub during the years he was with J-Lo. He bought the CCTV, allegedly. These rich, powerful guys don’t tend to treat women well…

There is CCTV footage showing him beating her to the ground.

This man should be in jail.

He'll get away with it, something about California law and it not being reported with a certain time frame ! But at least there is video proof of what he's capable of !

The footage is chilling. She was clearly running away from him and he chased her down. Horrible man.

The BBC said as it was in 2016 she's out of time to prosecute.

The BBC also said the footage was unverified so it's speculation and allegation as far as they are concerned.

That footage is absolutely awful.

The FBI raided all p diddy's properties at the same time the other week. Apparently he paid tens of thousands for this footage from the hotel. Sounds like they found it in the raid, along with a ton of other secret recordings of his so-called "freak offs" (orgies) which he used to blackmail people.

He's also alleged to have abused Usher when he was a teenager, and then Justin Bieber, after Usher introduced them. Quite a few people in the rap industry have come forward with stories like this.

The footage of him attacking that woman (Cassie?) in the hotel is shocking. He is a scumbag for that alone.

The hotel ceased trading a while back, I wonder if this footage (allegedly paid for by Diddly) was found in his property when it was raided. The footage is shocking and my gut feeling is that there is more to come.

Definitely tip of the iceberg.
