Had to share with someone!! Drugs related....

So we've been in our house 4 years now, have a cellar that's pretty unusable really. Noticed a weird smell the last couple of weeks coming from there and we know the neighbours had a rat problem in theirs. So off I go crawling through the cellar looking for the source of the smell. Now imagine my surprise when I find 700g of cocaine in my cellar!!! I just had to tell somebody!
For those wondering I also found a dead rat, so mission accomplished 😅

Did the rat die of an overdose?!

FlipsSakeMum · 16/11/2023 12:51

700g!! ! Are you sure? How do you know. That's a lot of cousins and it's worth a lot of money.

What are you going to do?

HundredMilesAnHour · 16/11/2023 12:52

How did you know it's coke?

KaiserChefs · 16/11/2023 12:52

What does 700g of cocaine smell of OP? 🤔

Who knows, maybe. The packaging looked a bit nibbled. Perhaps I should have left it their for future rats to enjoy their final moments in life

How do you know it was coke? Did you try some?!

This!

mangeldelite · 16/11/2023 12:53

Yeah ok

MadeOfAllWork · 16/11/2023 12:53

Do you know it’s cocaine for sure? Are you going to call the police?

I’m assuming the smell was dead rat and you found the coke while looking.

VerityUnreasonble · 16/11/2023 12:53

I mean if you plan on taking up drug dealing that maybe £30-40k?

Not sure of how much you'd get for a dead rat these days. I'm not down with the kids.

KenAddams · 16/11/2023 12:54

Cocaine doesn't smell

JessieLongleg · 16/11/2023 12:54

That's 30k worth, join the Tories and head to their parties and you will make some money

Quitelikeit · 16/11/2023 12:55

F

Purpleraiin · 16/11/2023 12:56

Yep defo right on the weight, 734g to be exact, I know because I took it out and weighed it. Definetly worth a lot of money, although I'm not sure if it's much use after sitting there for that long.
It was pretty obvious from the look and the way it was packaged it was likely coke. I did the good citizen thing though and handed it in to the police, who have today confirmed it is coke.

@KaiserChefs 🤣🤣

Cocaine doesn't smell

Yes it does! It has that horrible acrid chemical waft about it

Dead rats do. Op was looking for the dead rat and found coke while she was there.

FlipsSakeMum · 16/11/2023 13:01

Did the police come back and search the rest of the house.

Wasn't 100% sure as I've never used it myself tbh but it looked pretty certain from the look and the packaging. I did call the police who were meant to come and fetch it but for whatever reason called back and asked me to drop it off. I spoke to them today because I'm nosey and wanted to know for certain and they confirmed it was indeed coke.

Yes the smell was the dead rat and I came across a manky old drawstring bag buried under some brick in the shallower part of the cellar. Had a nosey inside the sbg and found the coke in there.
We were told by the local shop owner that a drug dealer lived here before us. We assumed this anyway as we found weed growing equipment in the cellar when we moved in but assumed he dealt just weed, clearly we were wrong 😬

Nope, I thought they would as there's a part of the cellar very difficult to access unless commando crawling and its at the entrance to that bit I found the bag. So there could be more in that bit but they've not asked to come out. Tbh, they've haven't actually asked me anything other than my name, address, phone number and where I found it

Possumzilla91 · 16/11/2023 13:09

They asked you to drop it off?!

That's the bit that's sticking with me for some reason. What if you got stopped on your way, while carrying nearly a kilo of class A drugs? "Oh yes officer, I found it in the cellar and was taking it to the police, like a good citizen"

Possumzilla91 · 16/11/2023 13:09

Smells mildly like petrol

wited · 16/11/2023 13:15

Was it good quality? Asking for a friend.

Crzy · 16/11/2023 13:16

@Possumzilla91 Same as you would if stopped carrying a knife sword etc to be handed in, theyll call the station to check they know you’re coming and it’s not a lie then allow you to continue your journey, worried myself when taking some swords in that had been displayed for years and they assured me this was the protocol even for hunting rifles etc which surprised me !

CurlewKate · 16/11/2023 13:19

I call bullshit. Sorry.
