Toying with the idea of getting DD's a throw each for Christmas. They're attic room bedrooms are getting chilly.

Any advice?

Thanks, I bought a heavy faux fur one from Amazon 130cm x 180cm which weighs 2.5kg.

The Dreamland faux deer one is 120cm x 160cm which feels a bit too small although weighs a hefty 2,6kg which is appealing for me. Might wait for the summer sale and buy it when it’s approx £40.

Ill post back feedback in a week!

Get her to try one somewhere first if you are able. I hate the sensation of electric blankets they make me feel.like my heart is fluttering and I get. Tingling sensation all over. It's known as electronic field effect.

They are not cheap so if she hates it then that will not be good.

I wish I did like them as our house is on the colder side.

I wrap myself in my heated throw. I place it on the chair ,sit down on top of it and wrap the 2 sides over me. I turn it on a few minutes before im ready to sit and spread it out so there can be no hot spots and its warm when i first sit down .So lovely on my back and the bliss of sitting down in a soft ,warm blanket is worth every penny.

Mine goes on at number 5 ( can select up to 9 ) if jts really cold and i then reduce it to number 2 once im toasty. The time selector can be for up to 8 hours so i opt for that .I turn it off myself if im not going to be actually sitting down for a while. If im up and down i leave it on but spread out. Mine is fully washable and returns to velvety softness once dry.
