Temu email spam

I have never even looked at the temu website, no interest whatsoever but recently I have been getting multiple emails from them a day.
I blocked all of their ads on social media because it’s everyfuckingwhere.
I’m reporting as junk and blocking the sender each time but still they keep coming!

I'm wondering if it's proper scam emails and not Temu themselves.
I've had orders from them in the past, all arrived on time all good stuff. I've never received anything from them except my order acceptance and an email to track the parcel.
Sort of like my Mums friend used to constantly get Amazon emails but had never had an Amazon account or even bought anything from them ever.

i will never ever buy anything from temu. I hate their strategy, No way to stop their adverts on social media. Its constant.

The TEMU spam actually gets in my inbox.

God. Me too! Started this week and it's so annoying ! And they all seem to be going into my focused emails so I get notified every time. Im blocking every time but it's not making a difference

In that case it’s in Temu’s own interest to sort it out because everyone’s property pissed off with them.

Is it to a hotmail email address?? Ive noticed lots of people complaining that suddenly their hotmail email address is not managing to direct spam straight to the junk folder anymore. A quick google and you will find loads of people complaining of the same since a few months ago.

Yes so it is an issue with hotmail mainly. Same ‘youve won an oral B toothbrush’ ‘ russian beauties’ and now Temu spam. It is very obviously spam as well with subject lines containing rubbish. Hotmail are getting loads of complaints to sort it out. Most people are only with them due to historically having a hotmail account. Most prefer to use Gmail nowadays. Hopefully the many complaints and feedback will have an effect. I suppose in the meantime send straight to the junk mail folder and log complaints with hotmail.

I am getting over 10 spam emails a day to my Hotmail account. Including temu.

I report every time but not sure if it actually makes any difference.

Like others have said this is nothing to do with temu or having your passwords compromised or your friends buying from temu and Hotmail really needs to sort it out as it's flipping annoying

The oral b one seems to stop them started up again for a while before iif finally disappeadd.
I didn't know about the email address, I'm going to do that from now on

I reported the first few as phishing and marked them as junk but they kept coming so I set up a rule that means any messages containing ‘temu’ are automatically diverted to the junk folder.

I never intend to buy anything - a quick google will tell you about security & data issues.

They've set the sender address to the recipient (apparently quite easy to do), so you can't block yourself.

Just don't click on any links
