Suella Braverman is a danger to the UK and needs to go.

I thought Suella peaked me with her "lets take tents off homeless people as winter is coming" shite. But her performative cruelty is no longer a surprise.

She has surpassed herself in the last 24 hours and become actively dangerous to police and public with her remarks about protests. She is our Home Secretary. Her job is to keep us safe.

So why the fuck has she done the complete opposite with goady, childish statements about police and protesters?Shock

She's a danger to my blood pressure, I know that much.

Thoroughly evil woman.

Allthatwegotisthispalebluedot · 09/11/2023 17:03

She is hideous and I cannot wait for the day she is sacked. She is an embarrassment and an absolute disgrace.

I am appalled at the entire government and have been since Cameron tbh. I will NEVER EVER vote Tory but I didn’t expect to hate them this much. I cannot believe the UK voted for them. Literally no other party could be worse than the cruel, incompetent and criminal govts we have had since 2016.

MorrisZapp · 09/11/2023 16:02

She's a horror. But my gender critical sisters on twitter are jumping to defend her because the world is now mental.

This made me 🤣🤣🤣.

Kendodd · 09/11/2023 17:22

Agree. She's made it her mission to stir up the far right. I bet she's praying for trouble on Saturday.

TooBigForMyBoots · 09/11/2023 17:26

TodayInahurry · 09/11/2023 13:32

She is correct. The gutless policing we currently have is a danger to the UK. The far left are just appeasing them

No, she is not correct. If she was, she would have collected the evidence and put it to the Cheif Constabl because she's the Home Secretary.

She's not Outraged from Tunbridge Wells, Sir Toppem Hat or White Van Man writing into the papers in the vain hope the Home Secretary will read it and do something. She is Suella Braverman, Home Fucking Secretary of the UK.

She isn't correct and she has made things considerably worse for the police, the public and the party.

She almost makes Thatcher seem sane

Almost

2jacqi · 09/11/2023 18:04

there are many people who support her views! I am disgusted with the palestinians protests too! what about the people in israel who went along to a park for a concert??? do they not merit pity?? Is israel not allowed to defend itself and its citizens???

TooBigForMyBoots · 09/11/2023 18:16

This is not about your personal opinion of the protests @2jacqi. It is about the Home Secretary of the UK stirring shit and making trouble.

The police are googling "RainDances" as we speak.

Who else could behave so unprofessionally and not be summarily dismissed?

AlwaysHeadingWest · 09/11/2023 18:42

Oh good! More Suella Braverman hyperbole as posters compete to be the MOST DISGUSTED by her!

"Unhinged" (the "acceptable" alternative to "crazy" and "psycho")! "Vile"! "Evil"! "Disgusting excuse for a human being!"

Keep it coming - I'm sure there's someone out there who's even more outraged than you!

Remember, the more hate Suella Braverman the better a human being you are. But if you don't let people know how much you hate her how will they know what a good, compassionate person you are?

Popolop · 09/11/2023 18:44

nice try @AlwaysHeadingWest

LittleGlowingOblong · 09/11/2023 18:46

Because it’s better to call out fascism when it’s still relatively pain free to do so, rather than wait until the jackboots are in every institution.

LittleGlowingOblong · 09/11/2023 12:38

The only person I can think of who would be worse would be Nigel Farage himself, and at least he’s not married to a vocal Zionist.

I'd put money on Nigel Farage being a member of Suella Braverman's shadow cabinet in 24 months time.

And unless people get behind Labour now, Farage + Braverman being back in power by 2030 because Labour didn't get a big enough majority in the 2024 election for them to make the legislative changes needed to get the country back on its feed during their first term.
Nigel Farage as the next Tory PM? The idea is poisonous.. and plausible

Nigel Farage as the next Tory PM? The idea is poisonous.. and plausible

A broken Tory party would turn to a Farage comeback

Right to defend yes
That defence would have stopped the festival attack

The current action isn't defence - how is killing a child defence ?

Redlarge · 09/11/2023 18:51

She is riddled with hate and Prejudice.

Popolop · 09/11/2023 18:55

When she stops sowing such hateful rhetoric, maybe she will be hated less?

Jason118 · 09/11/2023 19:13

It goes like this, Sunak sacks her, she throws a strop, he removes the whip, other Tories have a fit and write letters of no confidence, Sunak then threatens a GE if they don't all shut up and play nicely. Either they shut up or we have a GE, win win.

ATaleOf0Side · 09/11/2023 19:14

feedyourheed · 09/11/2023 16:09

I wish we'd seen some of the faux outrage when the police clamped down on anti-lockdown and anti-vaccine passport protestors whilst letting the contrived BLM protests not just go ahead, but joining in with them and taking the knee.

I can't disagree with Suella that only certain protestors feel the sharp end of the baton.

Ah here we go. The racist dog-whistle is always strong. Darn BLM and their quest for life as opposed to people's need to suit themselves.

Esther McVey, is that you? I swear she said something like this on GB News this morning as they were discussing Suella Braverman too.

TooBigForMyBoots · 09/11/2023 19:15

Jux · 09/11/2023 18:39

Who else could behave so unprofessionally and not be summarily dismissed?

A rapist? Those who covered for him allowing him to rape other women? PM Sunak is too weak to run his party, nevermind govern the country.

DahliaJ · 09/11/2023 19:15

Having had contact from Suella regarding an incident -

  • she doesn't listen
  • she involves herself in things that she shouldn't
  • she makes assumptions
  • she makes comments and writes articles based on inaccurate and biased right wing media articles rather than the accurate evidence from the professionals involved
  • she inflames incidents, even after they have been resolved to the satisfaction of all of this involved. ( to keep her name in the press and to peddle a view)

Ridiculous, dangerous human.

Jellykat · 09/11/2023 19:24

Sunak needs to grow a pair and get rid of her fast.. shes extremely dangerous!

I'm not political, but I think she is right about tents on high streets. They create an intimidating atmosphere and create no go areas. The argument against her tent on the high street statement on the Jeremy Vine show, by housing officer, was that many of the British tented homeless are not able to live in sheltered accommodation because they are arsonists, violent criminals, drug users, rapists. I know it sounds hysterical, but this is what she said, and this was an actual housing office worker's argument for allowing tented housing.
Anyone who disrupts the Remembrance Weekend observations and parades are showing huge disrespect to our country. I've seen at a local college how students from a certain community conduct themselves during the silence, and it was nothing short of disgusting.

TooBigForMyBoots · 09/11/2023 19:41

Whose department deals with the management of arsonists, violent criminals etc? Whose department is responsible for policing protests?

If only they could recruit Suella Braverman. She'd soon sort them out. They should give her a call.Hmm

I know this is being rationalised (the alternative being even more horrifying) here and elsewhere as future leadership bid positioning, but what is actually the logic of this?

How does this behaviour help her - it's apparent her shit stirring efforts to demonise everything isn't working (of course as demonstrated here a few will respond to the dog whistle) and simply confirms she is not only unpleasant but incompetent too.

(Leaving aside inevitable Boris jokes when it comes it competence,) how does this actually help with a future leadership bid? Or do we assume that future will see a lurch so far right that she'll seem entirely palatable. It's an awful thought either way of course.
