Does anyone know why teens keep making this gesture in photos?

I run a youth group and we have noticed for the last few weeks that every photo we take ends up with half the group making odd pointy fingers gestures! I have also seen it on other photos so it’s not just some thing my lot are doing!

is there anyone out there who is down with the kids who can tell me what in the sweet baby Jesus they are doing!

Cos they are teenagers and therefore weird. It was the dab and then the peace sign over their eyes now its this.

All I can think of is this is something to do with religion. Obvs could be completely wrong but I only seem this kind of gesture to do with Islam. Maybe its some sort of generic "righteousness" thing.

My teen does it too, as do his mates. Rural as it gets sixth formers, also as edgy as a circle (I'm keeping that one by the way, it's brilliant!).

Mine still do the peace sign, tongue out thing. 🙄

My 13 year old was on about this keep it lemon too he did tell me about it with the help of a video from internet but it all kinda went over my head

Ah, there was a school theatre trip in their FB the other day and they were all doing it, I did wonder!

Now I look closer, DS(13) is doing it!! I'll ask him in the morning - I hope it's not bad!

Could be worse - he could be doing the Korean love finger sign (that just looks like someone going money, money in Cabaret to me!)

Christ teenagers are weird. Were we this weird?

@Floopyfloop well there you go )) I don't know any teenagers and my pre-teen kids never heard of this trend, so I just thought of the first thing it reminded me of ))
