Has 2023 been a particularly bad year for you?

I can honestly say it's been a really challenging year for me so far, and I've known other people say the same.
Personal stuff, but also the state of the world - the middle-east of course 😔 But also worsening natural disasters. The NHS collapsing, the housing crisis and rising homelessness etc. I try generally try to be a positive person; but really objectively I have found 2023 uncommonly pants...

No, but that's mainly because 2022 was a total disaster for me and my family.

I'm saying nothing until it's over! Anything could go wrong in the next 7 weeks.

True. It could also redeem itself a bit for some of us over the next 7 weeks! But I'm not holding my breath. I'm pouring my hope into 2024 - seriously hope I don't have to start a similar thread this time next year!

Reading down through these posts my heart really goes out to you all. I hope the new year brings at least some glimmer of hope...
