Always enjoy these threads and get lots of good ideas from them.

We're having spag bol with creamed leeks on the side. Bit boring but tasty and easy!

What's everyone else having?

Cottage pie tonight

Covidiokilledtheradiostar · 06/11/2023 17:43

Slow cooker Spaghetti Bolognaise with garlic bread.

ButtonDownBev · 06/11/2023 17:44

I was supposed to do beef stew with dumplings in the slow cooker this morning but was absolutely rushed off my feet so didn't even get a chance to bung it together.
So tonight it will be breaded cod and chips (both from the freezer) with some mushy peas. And beef stew tomorrow...

WhamBamThankU · 06/11/2023 17:45

I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want..... and that's a massive bowl of honey nut cornflakes with ice cold milk 🤤 maybe two bowls.

qotsa · 06/11/2023 17:46

Simply Cook Makhani 👌🏽 🍛 delicious, quick and easy. Did the Thai red curry last week and that was also outstanding.

qotsa · 06/11/2023 17:47

@Mrsjayy a bit of vitamin... P? 😁

TheChippendenSpook · 06/11/2023 17:47

Cheesy mash and spaghetti for me tonight.

Spendysis · 06/11/2023 17:49

Singapore noodles

Sethos · 06/11/2023 17:50

Sardine pasta (garlic, chopped celery, lemon juice, smoked chilli, lots of anchovies, black pepper, pine nuts, can of sardines).

IHeartGeneHunt · 06/11/2023 17:50

Egg bread/French toast/whatever you want to call it, with ketchup, and followed by strawberry yoghurt and a banana.

QueenCoconut · 06/11/2023 17:52

Slow cooker Aubergine Thai curry

Mrsjayy · 06/11/2023 17:53

@Mrsjayy a bit of vitamin... P? 😁

Yeah just to add a bit of green to the plate 😄

applecatchers36 · 06/11/2023 17:54

Sethos that sounds tasty might try that one!

We are having slow cooked chilli am starving!

ranoutofquinoaandprosecco · 06/11/2023 17:55

Gammon, chips, egg and pineapple rings may see if there are some peas lurking in the freezer!

Imamumgetmeoutofhere · 06/11/2023 17:57

Chicken en-croute, cheesy mashed potato and baked beans. We always have something simple on a Monday as the start of the week is always tough with work and school

RedCoatSearch · 06/11/2023 18:08

BBC Good Food Heatly Egg & Chips - is a tray bake of potatoes, bacon, mushroom & red onion with eggs cooked in at the end. We have it with baked beans & its surprisingly tasty

Surely2023IsTheYearForMyRainbowBaby · 06/11/2023 18:10

Slow cooked chicken casserole which I'll have with some broccoli and swede and carrot mash. Left overs will be frozen for meals during the week and a portion left in the fridge for work tomorrow

Unic0rn · 06/11/2023 18:16

Jacket potato with beans and cheese. Just can’t be bothered with anything else!

Tisfortired · 06/11/2023 18:18

We had chicken stroganoff with rice and garden peas. Not sure the peas bit is terribly authentic but it looks rather beige without.

RabbitsRock · 06/11/2023 18:18

The plan was chicken breasts with sage baked in foil, roast spuds/carrots, petitpois & gravy. But I got home later than planned so it’s battered fish, chips & peas instead!

SusanSHelit · 06/11/2023 18:19

Paneer curry with ginger rice and garlic and coriander naan breads. Firm favourite here, takes 20/25 minutes and bloody delicious! Not the healthiest dinner mind you. Lots of ghee and creme faiche involved

Sgtmajormummy · 06/11/2023 18:21

I cooked and left a pot roast with carrots and mushroom gravy for the family (a bit jealous, actually). They’ll slice it and nuke it on a plate each in the microwave. Plus a salad.
They also have homemade fruited malt loaf, which I’ve taken a third of because I like it best Grin.
Just about to look up a recipe for Brussels sprouts and bacon ‘cos I can’t remember if they need boiling first and then crisping. That’s my treat.

Xanadu58 · 06/11/2023 18:24

Some left over chilli con carne with a jacket potato and salad .

vernatheraven · 06/11/2023 18:24

We are having a random tea here.

Daughter had left over roasties and veg from the roast yesterday with a salmon fillet and a bit of the left over chicken so she had a surf and cluck Blush

I'm having the other salmon fillet with a fish cake and DH is having a fish cake and the rest of the chicken

frenchfancy81 · 06/11/2023 18:26

Spaghetti bolognese for husband and son and a chicken bhuna for me!
