I keep reading this fucking book and I'm still not halfway through.

Very very long

Mostly drinking lemsips and refereeing the DC.

Relaxing, stress free, we made it just the way we wanted it.

So.much.coughing

Worked too hard, didn't rest enough so my body is hurting BUT I made some much needed extra £££ and now next week is looking a lot less stressful and I can breathe again

Wasn't really looking forward to it, but surprised that so many people turned up - had a brilliant time!

My jigsaw still isn't fucking finished

Fireworks =. very scared cat.

DS mainly managed to be calm when his much loved DGF was staying but he still threw a coaster at me and cut my face and jumped on DD in the car.

A non-descript, achieved nothing weekend with 2 poorly little ones.

Got Covid for the fourth time grr

Played first gig in new band and spent quality time with old friend and fiancé.

Covid Duty. Not me, but the other two members of my household.

A lot of cheese and prosecco 😁

My parents spent the weekend.

Nagging, tearful and a bit relentless with smatterings of laughter.

reading books about the 20s 30s 40s 50s next weekend building a time machine to go back.

Cold. We’ve had no heating or hot water since Thursday and been cancelled on all weekend, in fact we have no gas at all so it’s been a pain in the arse trying to make meals too but we have been to two firework nights so not all bad.

Got some jeans at last, caught up on sleep, had a lovely roast at a cosy pub, and a sunny walk in the woods.

Spent too much time reading.
P.E kit lost

Running around after children, chores and not enough hours left in the day for any quality me time.

Slept through most of it. Long days at work and associated insomnia over the last few weeks has obviously caught up with me and resulted in me being asleep more hours than I was awake this weekend

Bless my DP who just left me to it with no complaint, even though we had a whole weekend of plans that went out the window

@whatausername I love this thread; some intriguing, some positive; so sorry for those who have had a tough two days.
