Closely followed by Vue

Gingernaut · 05/11/2023 16:34

Boots

Click the 'Shop Now' button and it often links to an error page

Why are you showing me shit that no longer exists???

crikeyisthatthetimez · 05/11/2023 16:35

Gov.uk

CyberCritical · 05/11/2023 16:36

I came on to say Boots 😂 It's a complete shit show, can never find anything, it seems to crash and lose my basket all the time and then checkout always seems to have some kind of problem.

Having said that Bootsappliances website is great, easy to use, fulfilled by AO and you get boots advantage points on things like washing machines which add up really quick. Pretty much always get white goods from them.

casuarinatree · 05/11/2023 16:36

TFL - worst website I use on a regular basis by a country mile. I swear a lot when on it.

Chewbecca · 05/11/2023 16:37

My two hates already mentioned- Boots and BA.

Gnomegnomegnome · 05/11/2023 16:37

Boots (especially the app) and zara.

SouthShore · 05/11/2023 16:38

Boots, BA and Zara. I’ve given up shopping with Zara completely because of how dreadful the site is

SaturdayGiraffe · 05/11/2023 16:39

Amazon, naturally. If it was starting now, it would fail because the design is so bad and the products are mostly Chinese trash.

crikeyisthatthetimez · 05/11/2023 16:35

Gov.uk

Oh yes - this too.

AND THE CONGESTION CHARGE site.

Shouted in capitals because it's so flippin awful.

MrTiddlesTheCat · 05/11/2023 16:40

BBC one. It's like I'm using old dial up Internet. Drives me nuts.

Appin · 05/11/2023 16:41

Next. I can't use it at all on my phone. It constantly asks me to accept cookies, despite me clicking to accept. And it also randomly empties the basket. Terrible.

TheGoldenGhouls · 05/11/2023 16:42

Another vote for Boots. The website and app are complete rubbish, I frequently give up and just buy from somewhere else.

Argos is also pretty terrible. The website itself isn’t an issue but they don’t actually have most of the products available. They have to be available locally because a company that has always been a catalog shop cannot deliver their own items to their own stores!

TheShellBeach · 05/11/2023 16:42

Superdrug is nearly as bad as Boots.

TheShellBeach · 05/11/2023 16:43

Argos is crap as well.

Well I came on to say Boots it's an absolute nightmare, last year an assistant in store tried to order me something and she was getting frustrated with it , I don't know why it is so bad.

floatingnoodle · 05/11/2023 16:43

When I saw the thread title my first thought was Boots too! I’ve never managed to make a purchase through their app because it’s so dysfunctional.

BringBackCoffeeCreams · 05/11/2023 16:45

The National Autistic Society website always makes me question if they've ever met an autistic person. It makes my head hurt. Huge blocks of bright, sensory overload triggering colours with white text on. I can't read most of it.

ValBiro · 05/11/2023 16:45

Zara.

Stopped using it a couple of years ago... Seems that pp agree so can't believe it hasn't changed!

lemonadejelly · 05/11/2023 16:45

John Lewis! Why does it insist on showing you things that are out of stock??

3Tunes · 05/11/2023 16:46

Boots is bad. The Independent is unusable.

But for sheer, head in hands, need a drink after trying for hours awfulness, it’s got to be TfL.

I have four logins, because they can’t cope with one for me, two DC and a car. I always end up logged in as the wrong person, on the wrong website (why is car charging a separate website to Oyster which is separate to Zip?). I generally can’t find whatever I need to do, even when it’s something simple. And it always takes ages and multiple cards to pay for anything.

I agree with you. Their journey planner gives some weird options sometimes. Even when I know the route but want to check times they give me some convoluted journey. Anything else on TFL is impossible.

GonnaGetGoingReturns · 05/11/2023 16:47

Boots, Zara and H&M.

TroysMammy · 05/11/2023 16:47

B&Q
Argos

shardash · 05/11/2023 16:48

Argos for me. I always try to check whether something is in stock at my local branch before I go, and things very often aren't. It is inside a supermarket, so not a special trip, but anyway. Yet if you go in there, hey presto. I mentioned it to the assistant once, and she said never to rely on what the website said, it was rubbish.
