I believe we are affected by the universe yes. In ways that we don’t fully appreciate or yet understand fully. We do not exist in isolation - we are a part of a complex, physical dynamic that exerts force on us. The moon physically affects people and emotionally too. Why is it beyond the realms of possibility that there are other, powerful forces at work that may influence the way we manifest ourselves? I do think we are subconsciously fine-tuned to natural phenomena.

I read a very good book on it ages ago and I then looked at all the people in my life that I struggled to click with... Wrong star sign for me and all three friends where it was "easy", walking thru an open door.

I've watched loads of videos where a group of people have been given their own personal horoscope written just for them. They've mostly gone oh my god that is EXACTLY me, it's so accurate blah blah

People can be very judgemental about astrology, which is fine, I suppose. It makes them feel scientific and clever to dismiss other knowledge systems as stupid.
There was a philosopher of science called Paul Feyerabend who wrote interestingly on this topic.
Do I believe in my horoscope in the metro? No. Do I believe in astrological charts that might determine or input into my essential character? Probably not to be honest, but I don't dismiss it. The planets, moons and stars do demonstrably affect us.

I don't take seriously the daily predictions in newspaper.

But I always found the personality descriptions of each birth sign to be surprisingly accurate so I keep an open mind.

I love the idea of it but don’t really believe it though people that I know well do seem to have the right characteristics for their star signs. However, my own star sign is supposed to be Leo but I don’t think I do have many of the key characteristics, I think I’m much more Cancerian though my birthday is nowhere near the changeover date. I think it’s fun to read the good stuff, ignore the bad and know that my choices mainly decide my path.

Meh that's why you need to look at a proper chart, you may have more dominant characteristics, it is interesting if nothing else.

It depends on if anything majorly shifted on your birthday..it may ot matter too much.
