I am caring, honest and dependable.

I am impatient and critical/suspicious of people I don't know well (aka trust).

HeDoesntWannaBangYouSomebodyHangYou · 04/11/2023 11:43

I'm kind and caring.

I'm also overly sensitive, dramatic and disorganised. I find myself hard work 🤣

Sealover123 · 04/11/2023 11:44

I was always overly sensitive but now I don't give AF 😂

I'm generous and will always share what I have with friends and family.

I get really crabby when I get tired or feel unwell. I'm a real crabby bitch if really tired.

ludocris · 04/11/2023 11:48

I'm funny, intelligent, caring and kind.

I'm also obsessive, prone to laziness and have no self-restraint when it comes to bad habits.

Apossum · 04/11/2023 11:53

Best trait, I’m as straight as you can get, v honest and I won’t bullshit people BUT I’m not rude with it. People know where they stand with me.

Worst trait, I can be a bit brutal in my judgements of other people.. I don’t cut people much slack for their mistakes.

VeridicalVagabond · 04/11/2023 11:54

Mine are at odds with each other, really.

Positive: My boss always tells me I am a calming influence, I give off an aura of chill in work (we have to deal with some very difficult often abusive people and I'm very good at it) and I am never, ever rattled.

Negative: My husband tells me I am an over emotional disaster. This is because I do things like buying two pairs of scissors because they were the only two left and the thought of leaving one pair the unchosen, rejected pair all alone on the shelf made me genuinely tear up.

Teach me ☹️

A few years ago I realised my oversensitivity was affecting me more than it should.

If someone is rude to you or criticises you - think, is it true? If no then push it out of your mind. Say no to those thoughts. If it is true, think maybe I can improve in that area but no one is perfect and allow yourself some grace. Also think do I even like that person, if no then say I'm not going to allow them to affect me or give them any mental energy.

Your time is valuable so spend it thinking positive thoughts and focus on the people who lift you up and are important to you.

The scissor thing is so funny and literally me. I often take the 'underdog' items; a dented can or something damaged because i feel sorry that it wont get picked by anyone else 😭😭

Re: scissors. That's so cute 😍

GreyCarpet · 04/11/2023 12:19

Those who feel bad leaving one item on the shelf...

Why not think about the joy and relief of the next person who has gone to buy it to find that there is one left and they've got it. The thing they really needed. Rather than the emotional state of a non sentient object that has no emotions?

Pretty much exactly that for me too.

Essenceofpetunia · 04/11/2023 12:26

This is interesting!

My best trait might be that I’m easy-going and ‘low maintenance’, so I’m very easily pleased and very difficult to upset.

Worst: laziness.

Diolchynfawr · 04/11/2023 12:30

I am thoughtful and generous.

But I also put my loved ones down/ get one over on them sometimes. It’s not a good quality and I am trying to stop.

Fun question. I feel like i can guess people’s enneagram types from the answers so far, so thought it might be worth posting this for anyone interested - https://www.eclecticenergies.com/enneagram/test

I’m cheerful and caring but don’t like responsibilities and can be judgy and impatient!
