If you rely on your phone for everything

to pay for stuff, route finding, apps to call a taxi etc...

Do you always carry a spare battery pack with you, or would you always be close to a car anyway with a charger cable in it? Or your phone battery always lasts 24 hours+ no matter how intensively used the phone is.

Just wondering how people make sure the phone will always have enough charge in it, if you're super reliant on your phone. And if you carry a battery pack, how do you make sure that always has enough charge in it (and do you carry more than one spare cable in case cable goes faulty)

My battery lasts all day.

I use my phone for everything. It is way over due to be replaced. The battery now drains quite quickly. I have a charger at work and have two high volume battery packs in my bag at all time. I invested quite light weight but powerful battery packs that display the percentages left in it.

How can I transfer all my photos etc that are on iCloud onto and android phone?

Ibizafun · 02/11/2023 23:00

Rely on mine for heating, alarm, TV's and a million other things. Resisted it at first but grudgingly accept it now.

i carry a small pouch with two battery packs and two or three charging cables, as i usually carry a tablet or two as well.

I take a battery pack if I am going to be out for the whole day. I pay for travel on my phone and wouldn't be able to get through the station barriers if it ran out. I rarely use it but like to know it is there.

I paid £40 (?) to replace battery on the S8 and it wasn't really any better, so dunno why such a wimpy charge store. Thanks for replies.
