Enfield had a different feel then, especially that bit of the Highway. I remember walking up there with my mates and my spending money to go to Keith’s and we would share a milkshake from the wimpy and sit on the wall at the bottom of brick lane. Two greggs 🤣 It’s not like that now. At all.
That’s why I feel like the legend of this grew so quickly, it’s London but like a village, especially In brimsdown where we were considered the poor relations of the Enfield town lot. Everyone knows everyone.
