Have you switched your heating on yet?

Usually we have our heating on by this time of the year. So far, we’ve not used it once!

Who has started using their heating and when?

I guess it will be area and house dependent. We’re in London but only have single glazing and 14ft ceilings.

I don’t have a thermostat, only a timer. I have been having it on 15 minutes in the morning and if needed, 15/30 minutes in the evening but have preferred to try and sit under the heated throw in the evenings to avoid putting it on.

im in Yorkshire and it’s been very wet and damp. The 15 mins a day has helped a lot though and I’m trying to stay warm to get rid of a cough I’ve had for 3 weeks!

Yes I've had it on a couple of times when it's really rainy and miserable .
