yes the cheap mountain warehouse ones! I got DH to buy me lovely muck boot wellies one year for Christmas but I didnt find them comfortable at all really and last winter I bought the mountain warehouse ones and love them.

Threelionsandalioness · 19/10/2023 22:32

I second the mountain warehouse ones too

Bemyclementine · 19/10/2023 22:33

Aigle. Not cheap, my current pair were IRO £100. I've worn them daily (for around 7 mobths each year) for horses, walking, riding for 5 years. Comfy, warm, not flappy on the leg.

Compo recommends wellies, all he'd wear.😀

LadyoftheLavaLamp · 19/10/2023 22:35

Le Chameau, Aigle

Londonscallingme · 19/10/2023 22:37

I find my hunter wellies comfy

yogasaurus · 19/10/2023 22:37

Get yourself some memory foam insoles from Amazon, and they’ll make any wellies comfy!

Spanglybangles · 19/10/2023 22:44

I have Hunter wellies which I don’t really love. I have since got Ariat Eskdale boots, leather, warm, waterproof and I much prefer them. I’ve had them 6 years and they are still doing great.

MotherOfCrocodiles · 19/10/2023 22:52

Crocs

Mumaway · 19/10/2023 22:54

Dunlop Blizzard wellies. Rated down to something ridiculous like -40degrees. Fluffy and snuggly, and wide enough in the calf even for me. Plus long enough to actually keep my trousers clean in the mud.

AgMaggy · 19/10/2023 22:56

Le Chameau

FortunaMajor · 19/10/2023 23:00

Ariat - the Burford ones.

CeliaCanth · 19/10/2023 23:02

Le Chameau!

Fleetheart · 19/10/2023 23:03

i love my muck boots, they are cosy and comfortable!

PowerTulle · 19/10/2023 23:04

I have Aigles, the neoprene lined ones. I can stand up to my calves in icy river water and stay completely toasty!

They’re also adjustable on the leg, have treads like a tank and still look good after 4 years wear.

rainydogday · 19/10/2023 23:05

Fitflop wellies have been my most comfy, over hunter and all other very expensive ones. I got them for £30 on offer last year.

BrightBlueFlamingo · 19/10/2023 23:10

Crocs do wellies, off to Google...............!!!!!😋

MPF080619 · 19/10/2023 23:10

Another vote for aigle. I wear them daily for dog walks from October - April and find them so comfortable and I've had my pair for over 5 years.

2welshmums · 19/10/2023 23:11

I bought a pair of Croc boots about 12 years ago and lived in them for dog walking and any outdoors activity in rain etc.

They are still intact but Croc tag at back has peeled off and they look worn.

I purchased a brand new pair on Vinted for £25, brand new with tags in box - chuffed to beans.

MagpieCastle · 19/10/2023 23:23

Ilse Jacobsen mid length wellies are comfy and just the right length for those of us without long legs. Grabbed a pair in the sales and they’re great for long dog walks. Previously had a pair of Le Chameau which though warm and comfortable on the foot were too high for me.

Yogasaurus is right though, good insoles will provide comfort without needing to spend £££. Wish I’d realised that before investing more on the hunt for comfy wellies than on any of my other shoes/boots.

Yes these! Fabulous footbed - great to walk in and warm and comfy!

Yellowdaysaregood · 19/10/2023 23:28

Le chameau , the leather ones , had them for years . Expensive initially but last forever

UndercoverCop · 19/10/2023 23:31

I like the joules roll up ones, they are really light and flexible add a thick pair of welly sucks and they're really comfy. I do have to caveat this by saying I use them for regular winter beach walks, not mucking out etc. MIL is very horsey and favours Le Chameau

redastherose · 19/10/2023 23:39

Yep Dunlop, cheap and long lasting and comfy.

OriginalFloorboards · 19/10/2023 23:42

Agree on Aigle. Especially the neoprene winter ones. Wear 7 days a week with three horses and two dogs at home. Absolutely like walking on air.
