I have Aigles, the neoprene lined ones. I can stand up to my calves in icy river water and stay completely toasty!

They’re also adjustable on the leg, have treads like a tank and still look good after 4 years wear.

I have these too. They're amazing and warm. Yes heavy and the adjustable buckle means you can't sit crossed legged in the pub with them 😂. I am the coldest soul and these are a game changer.

LadyG I think neoprene is one of those things you can’t go back on with a welly. Once you’ve gone there, nothing else compares.

Rockfish - The most comfortable ever!

I'm an aigle fan. Had mine 10 years, they're great as I walk a lot in winter.
Am tempted to try the neoprene ones now...

Bogs, very warm and comfortable.

I totally agree!

I have an old school pair of hunter wellies, from my festival days, and I would wear them every day if I could!

i love my muck boots, they are cosy and comfortable!

Me too! I have big feet for the length of my legs so lots of welly boots hit the back of my knees, as they often change the height of them between size 5 and 6. Muck do a shorter length option. I find mine not too hot in summer and still warm in winter - I can wear them for sledging without getting cold toes. Will never buy anything else now. We’ve got chickens and ducks and live rurally so the roads are often muddy too. I have walking trainers for long walks in the hills and mountains but often wear my wellies for a short half an hour dog walk from the house as even the roads get muddy here in winter. My wellies get used a lot every day and my wellies still last years.

Muck Boots

They come up quite wide, some put in extra insoles to take out some volume. Now perfect.

RampantIvy · 21/10/2023 07:29

I find my Town and Country ones comfortable.

GinJeanie · 21/10/2023 07:32

Angle fur-lined with extra sheepskin insole for winter.

Looblou72 · 21/10/2023 08:10

Aigle Parcours neoprene lined, had mine about 4 years and look like new, so comfy, like a walking boot crossed with a wellie! if you shop around you can find good deals on them.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 21/10/2023 08:15

Very old Hunters, still going strong, with sheepskin sole inserts. They make a huge difference.

whatsappdoc · 21/10/2023 09:02

These are so comfortable I walk for miles in them.

I had hunters for a long time and then they sold the company and moved production overseas and they just weren't the same - don't last, crack and have no decent support. So I switched to Aigle neoprene ones and they are just fab - more like a walking boot than a floppy wellie and so warm - wouldn't even need socks if it wasn't for the trouble removing them from sweaty feet! 😂

yikesanotherbooboo · 21/10/2023 10:08

I have fit flop wellies and they are very comfortable.

Yes I have heard they aren't what they used to be so I've been hanging on to mine for dear life!! 🤣

That's good to know though for when they do get past it - thank you!

Mytholmroyd · 22/10/2023 10:52

@5ive sadly they are not - they went 'fashionable' and are more suited to city life now!

DeadBugMountainClimber · 22/10/2023 10:58

I love my Muck Boots. I’ve got small but wide feet, so they fit perfectly. They are ideal for long, wet dog walks. Grippy and waterproof. They aren’t lightweight though. I have the shorter height ones, I’m long-legged but I don’t need them to be knee high and it takes some of the weight out of them.
