How much do I weigh? (With pics)

Hi everyone

I'm really struggling with body image at the moment. I weighed myself for the first time in years the other day and was absolutely gobsmacked at how much I weigh. Maybe I'm delusional and do look that big, who knows?

From the these pics can anyone make an educated guess as to how much I look like I weigh? For reference, I'm 5 foot 7.

Thanks again

I think it is possible to weigh significantly more than you look like you do. Some people have denser bones as well as bigger bones – and bigger bones is a thing, which is why some BMI calculators include a wrist measurement to indicate your frame size.

I'm 5'9" with a big frame and pear shaped. I'm currently just within healthy weight, on the border with overweight. But even when I'm definitely overweight, doctors always say my weight looks healthy, that I'm slim, "obviously your weight is fine" etc then they're surprised that it's 2 stone over what they thought.

So I would say don't worry so much about the numbers - carry on with healthy eating and go by your size and shape.

Same. I'm 5ft 10, 17 stone and a size 16 bottom, 18 top

Interesting. I'm the opposite and carry weight badly. Even when I'm within a healthy BMI (say 24) I look quite podgy. I seem to have hardly any muscle so any extra weight is pure flab. I also get a fat face when I increase my weight (whilst staying with in a healthy BMI) which makes me look fatter. I'm quite tall at 5ft 8 and a pear shape so I should carry weight well but I just look like a sack of potatoes if I go above 10 stone 7lbs.

You look about 13 stone to me. Sorry if that's offensive, but am taking your height into consideration.
