Single mum on a budget facing the expected cost-of-heating crisis as last year. Looking for heated blankets for my two kids and me. Any recommendations? I feel like I have used up my quota (!!) but any Mumsnet recommendations for prime day bargains on heated clothes dryers (the ones where you hang your clothes to dry inside) which are economic to run (compared with a tumble dryer) etc? TIA.

I honestly don’t know how much it costs per hour or anything, but DD and I have used ours for years because however much it costs it’s a lot cheaper than putting the heating on. I’m replacing our old ones which don’t work very well any more.

ETA, I had a look and it’s between 2-4p and hour. The great thing is, they warm up really quickly and you then get too hot so it’s not like you need it on for hours at a time.

Hi @millymog11 - we've done a bit of digging and unfortunately there's slim pickings when it comes to Mumsnetter-approved heated airers in the Prime Day sales this year.

We did spot this discount if it's of interest, but we can't find chatter about the brand on the forums: 15% off Highlands Electric Heated Clothes Dryer. Was £43, now £37

We do have a guide to the best heated clothes airers, however, with plenty of suggestions that have been tried and tested by Mumsnetters and MNHQ editors which may be helpful. And if you're wanting a discount, it might also be worth hanging on until the Black Friday sales next month too. Flowers

Hi @Parentswriting - we've found this Christian Dior Sauvage for £59, but it doesn't appear to be discounted today!

However, for a cheaper dupe, this Copycat fragrance is inspired by Sauvage and is less than 20 quid - the reviews are mixed, though.
