Good Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

I've had a lie in & then my breakfast. I'm just finishing my first cuppa now. I've got the window open so I can hear the birds outside, and I've been watching one of the wood pigeons pootle about on the fence & next doors flat roof. Strange to see just the one - usually there are two or three together.

Today's plan is similar to yesterday for me! Potter about sorting the tip kitchen after last night's tea, quick tidy round, couple of wash loads to be done. Maybe I'll chuck in a bit of clearing out, or listing on Vinted...we'll see.

Once my little list's done, I'm going to carry on painting peg people (well, they're animals this time) or pick up my crochet. Might make a few more bracelets with the girls too maybe - or just set them going then potter since I managed all of one in the time it took dd2 to make 6 or seven 🙈🤣

Dd1 has homework to be doing too - a Philosophy essay she's enjoying, and something Lit she's not as enthusiastic about. Dd2 has some of her Sparx Readers to complete but doesn't like the platform so will need a kick up the bum to do it.

Roast chicken for tea, with roast spuds, some sort of veg, Yorkshires, and gravy 😋

After that showers, and early nights all round ready for the new week.

My daughter officially became a brownie this week so we will be making some brownies to celebrate. Finally managed to have a lie in and feeling fresh from a very challenging week at work. Off on holiday next week so lots of washing to sort through. Chicken roast sounds lovely 😊

Have made Yorkshire pudding batter for this evening and waffle batter for breakfast. Just waiting for ds to come downstairs and ask for breakfast.
still feeling a little bit sorry for myself as I’m under the weather with a really congested chest but going to get the dc out later for a walk with family. Dh is out of action with a broken ankle which means I’m doing the cooking at the moment (I’m not the usual cook!).
Will be chasing ds to do his homework after breakfast, then just catching up on some jobs around the house. Sundays are my favourite day!

I've had a gorgeous lie in, my dc are old enough to get themselves up and amuse themselves for a couple of hours on the weekend now and it's lovely!

Currently on first coffee of the day. I have a few chores to do today, mainly vacuuming the stairs and ironing the uniforms.

Hoping to get out for a walk, wellies at the ready as it's quite wet and windy.
Will pop a beef joint in the slow cooker this morning for when we get back.

This evening will be an everything bath, blow dry my hair and a little false tan so I look vaguely human for the week ahead.

Good morning Lucysmam and others. I had a long lie (for me) til after eight. Two coffees and a croissant have been consumed and I'm watching old black and white films at the moment. Gallbladder has receded, thank goodness. Shortly I'll roast a chicken for dinner and do a spot of knitting. I have a small ironing to do as well. So small, gentle tasks today. Enjoy your day

DC are currently lying in the living room wrapped in duvets watching Frankenweenie.
I'm in the kitchen with a cup of tea, about to make some breakfast.
DH has just woken up, he thinks he may have covid.
We were supposed to go out for a walk today but I think it's looking like we'll be stopping at home. I might do some baking!

Had a healthy portion (or three) of wine last night and I am also feeling it, but starting sober October today!

Not sure what to make for dinner, but roast chicken sounds amazing.

I'm jobhuntin at the moment, so will probably do some more applications today. Trying to get out of work in schools which I've been doing for the past couple of years.

Have fed cats let dogs out about to go down get breakfast, hunt for two Amazon packages which say 'handed to resident' which they certainly did not!
I've got my sister coming from abroad next weekend so deep cleaning a room a day - today the bathroom! Everything out clean properly then put only essentials back in.
The woman who did Autumn tidy up in the garden coming to collect all the waste for the dump later... if my daughter is up for it maybe some shoe shopping (she is developing a cold). That could happen tomorrow though.

I'm just back from walking the dog and finishing my second brew. Planning on doing an online exercise class in a minute.
Not much planned for the rest of the day. Both DDs have gym or dance classes, so have various drop offs to negotiate and then need to get them to finish their homework.
I got up early this morning to cook a bolognaise sauce for tea, so we'll have that later and then watch the Strictly results.

I'm still in bed, it's bliss. Dh is out at training. He runs a junior football team. I might go to the gym today. There's been suggestions by DH of going for a family lunch (v rate). Whereas I'd love to do this, I'm just thinking how fattening the food will be (its a carvery/roast). Im desperately trying to diet/ be good. I need to see my DGPs today too. If I could stay in my pj's all day then I would today !

Morning @lucysmam. How are you doing? Have you finished your treatment?

I was up early as have been away in Greece for a week and still on Greek time of two hours ahead.

Have done a load of washing and hung it out, had a few cups of tea and some toast and a zoom call with friends in Australia and New Zealand.

Need to empty the dishwasher, sort out the washing I did yesterday and research hotels in New York. I should do some ironing but probably won’t. Need to order some plants for the garden too. And maybe some bulbs to plant in some pots.

Planning a lazy afternoon of reading. DH is cooking roast beef for dinner later as DS is home for the weekend.

I'm heading up to the rugby club shortly to watch ds2, then picking my mum up to come to us for lunch. My Db and SIL may call later on the promise of tea and cake, so I need to make the cake at some point.
A bit of prep for tomorrow to do, ds2 will inevitably have homework that they've been avoiding.
If ds1 surfaces in time we're meant to be going for some driving practice, but he didn't roll in until 3am so that's looking unlikely🙄.
I'd like to get a walk in at some point since the weather is reasonable, but not sure when or if that will happen.

@Peridot1 I'm really good thank you! I've finished chemo, had a couple of weeks off & start some other meds this coming week - I was hoping for more than a 2 week break but both consultants are keen to keep it backing off. I'm hoping to just carry on as normal on them but we'll see.

Have had a lie in! DH & DS1 are at football. Need to continue the neverending declutter. Going to make a soup for lunch, roast gammon for dinner & crumble & maybe banana flapjack. DS3 wants to go conker hunting at some point, too. Not forgetting homework!

It's my birthday! I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself currently, which I'm trying to snap out of. Looking forward to cake and dinner out later!

Just got up to feed the kittens who were not happy at having to wait for their breakfast. 11 weeks old yesterday and I still can't bear to look for new homes for them, DH will divorce me if I don't though!
DD has woken up absolutely full of cold and looks dreadful so I think it'll be another day at home doing very little. Have such a long list of things I need to do and absolutely no energy to do them. Sooner Thursdays iron infusion kicks in the better! No idea what we're having for tea, lost my appetite

DH is away working this weekend. Dd is still in bed - I have just told her she needs to get up at 11 and I will bring her coffee and a bacon sandwich to speed that process along! I know it's a massive lie in, but she works so hard in the week on school work and her activities, so I do believe the extra sleep at the weekend is important.....

We are then going to my mom and dad's for lunch, and dd's dad will collect her from there.

Not sure after that! If my husband isn't back tonight (it's still up in the air how long the job will take) I may go to the cinema on my own for a little treat, as it's just been pay day!

Good morning! An amazing lie in with dp... and now coffee and fruit, considering a bath. We've got a week off together and it's bliss now that ds is back at uni. This afternoon I'll visit my mum in her nursing home and maybe buy a honeysuckle to plant.

I’ve still got COVID, feel really rough, day 5 since + but I’ve been ill for a week. Just come back to bed as I felt faint, clammy and dizzy.

I’ll potter around when I can 🤯 thinking about all the stuff I should be doing.
