So no free flu jab for over 50s ?

Basically that. Am I reading it right? There no free flu jab for over 50s this year, but I can still book and pay for one?

I got a text from my doctors to say book in for flu jab yesterday
I was having a well woman health check anyway today, so they added it on. I’m 52 and have no health issues

I think there's 4 strains in it or something isn't there? I'm sure I read something. Past couple of years it was just a sore arm. This year I wanted to rip it off and stick it in the freezer for a bit felt properly grotty for a couple of days.

I get a free flu jab through our school using a corporate voucher deal. Maybe ask your employer if they could investigate this.

I was offered the flu jab and covid vaccine today when at a doctor appointment for something else? And I’m not in any kind of vulnerable group and under 30?

Might have had some stock that would go to waste

I have mine free as I have asthma and have just turned 50 - also been invited for Covid jab....

I've had it. Not going to turn down a flu jab, even if it did knock me on my arse. I'm assuming there's an evil flu or 3 predicted or something.

It wiped me out for 3 days as well!! I’ve asked loads of people and no one else who’s had it ended up on their bums in bed for 3 days like I did!! Wonder why some end up poorly and some don’t!! Horrible this year but glad I had it!
