I made myself burger and chips and just started watching normal people. What's everyone else up to?

Just got back from IKEA, why we thought it would be a good time to go I don’t know. Traffic was horrendous, but we had meatballs and I’ve got a new bookcase. And a throw and some new cups so all good.

Watching the Barrie movie with a G&T

Just cooked a bolognaise sauce for a lasagne for 12 people for tomorrows lunch. My DD is off to Australia for a year and we want a proper send off. I might have a little cry behind the wine and champagne bottles. It’s breaking my heart I won’t see her for 12 months

Had gas man in (oo er). Changed battery in meter. Got granddaughter over she's up late since its Friday night. We, ve painted our nails and heading up to bed soon.

We've come away to a Haven park for the weekend. We arrived just in time for the last swimming session then had a later dinner back at the caravan. DD is asleep. DS and I are cuddled on the sofa reading our books and DH is stuffing his face with leftover pasta.

Tomorrow we're meeting up with friends to explore the local town and castle.

I've had a horrendous bug all week so now I'm nibbling toast wishing it was chinese takeaway and looking mournfully at the bottle of wine I can't drink. Very jealous of some of your evenings!

Been to the gym and smashed out an awesome workout. Just had steak stir fry. Going to have a bath and contemplate the rest of the weekend.

Had a great week, feel happy, single and content, although one weekend task does involve signing up to online dating!

I'm watching young Sheldon from the beginning(I'd watched it before and didn't realise I'd missed lots)and thinking about Christmas and making some Christmas lists.

I got in from the school run, started to prepare and cook dinner, binge watched some of the rookie, sorted DP dinner whilst he jumped in the shower, watched the england ladies match, spent 10 minutes listening to DS and dd arguing about absolutely nothing important, lost my shit because it’s time of the month and I don’t wanna listen to them arguing. They’ve retired to bed… I’m now watching the local news waiting to see a segment about a friend. Very eventful but boring evening

was enjoying the peace and quiet as next door is on holiday without her kids but im guessing the kids are back from were ever they have been staying this week and are having another party like they did last weekend

I made a meatball sub with left over home made meatballs from yesterday and watched an episode of The Handmaids Tale with DH, played a little with the cat. Then did the hardest level raid in Destiny 2, new hard mode dropped yesterday a 6 person activity. About to watch another episode of Handmaids Tale this time with pudding of strawberries and cream and coffee.

I watched the footy with a mojito and a big bag of crisps.

I'm in a hotel in Cardiff having dropped DD at her uni accommodation this afternoon. Watching some crappy tv and drinking a big bottle of water!

Had the loveliest day! Took my parents (both in their 80s) to see my DD new flat this afternoon in Glasgow. Had a couple of glasses of wine then we all went out for dinner followed by cocktails. So blessed we can still do this with my fabulous parents. Home now and tucked up in bed.

It’s really hard as a Mum . Just be happy you can FaceTime etc. I left home to go to Sydney 35 years ago and had to write letters.Enjoy your lunch. My son is going to Vancouver soon for a year 😕

motherstongue that sounds lovely, it's so lucky to still have your DPs as you get older (assuming you all get along) ... my DF lived until he was 90 & we were still having fun and going nice things .. my DM is now 90 and we are off for a day out in a local town today, she's chosen go to a trendy new restaurant!

Also thinking about adult DC going overseas, my (only) DC is planning a working trip ... it will be a fabulous opportunity for him.

I did some digital housekeeping and cleared out 10,000 emails 😵‍💫

DD and I had a bottle of fizz and sone wine, a Chinese takeaway and watched the 2nd series of White Lotus hotel. Perfect!
