I've hankered after one ever since I stayed in a cottage in Wales and they had Welsh blankets on the beds.
Aren't they gorgeous?
I'm going to treat myself to one but how do I choose just one??!

We've got four, all inherited. They are beautiful but rarely used.

I have a MT throw which is fine although quite course bought last year. I also spent a lot of money on their cushions which unfortunately have gone very bobbly and I am disappointed with them. I believe there are different types of wool depending on the pattern so maybe research this.
Also disappointed to learn from the website they don't use wool from Welsh sheep.
Good luck with your choice as I also had an old Welsh bedspread that lasted many years.

I love all things woollen and welsh blankets in particular. I have 3 or 4 blankets on top of my thin duvet in winter so that I can adjust the temperature so them being scratchy wouldn't worry me.

I love them. My mum has two, I think they were wedding presents. And me and my husband bought ourselves one as a special treat many years ago and it’s still lovely and new looking. Amazingly I found one in a charity shop for £10. Large hole in the middle but I don’t care! I was so so pleased!

I’m also obsessed OP! They are quite popular where I live 🥰 I also LOVE the Welsh wool coats! They are similar geometric patterns to the blankets 😍

Oh dear. I need a Welsh blanket now too.

I didn't realise they were so sought after.

It's been nice to follow the links and get all nostalgic about all my older relatives homes from when I was a child, but I'm with @GeraltsBathtub and others - they are far too itchy / scratchy to be allowed space in our house.

Didn't realise they had become so expensive though - beginning to wish we'd kept all those inherited blankets now !

@AutumnFroglets I bought the green and lavender one from Ebay. During the height of my obsession I watched Ebay for blankets all the time and fell in love with this one.

awwwww, thank you though.

*goes off to stalk ebay
