When did your child start sleeping in their own bed?

My son (3 years old) is sleeping in his own room for the first time tonight.

Not because I asked him to, because he wants to.....he's especially fascinated with a moon lamp next to his bed.

So far we've slept in a double bed together.

It's bitter sweet to have him "move out".... so my question is, when did your little one start sleeping on their own?

I wish my son was still in my room with me at the age of 9.

But I have to respect his wish to officially "move out".

I think I have empty nest syndrome now 😂
