Me pondering out loud, but as well as thinking this may be about the perils of trial by social media I’m also wondering about AI and deep fakes. Could it be that the RB video is a deep fake (released with his permission) to demonstrate how convincing these things are now?

Again, not a fan of RB but I’m more inclined to believe this is a “social media is the root of all evil” thing, given Channel4s previous exploits, because the alternative (that dozens or more people have been horribly used and abused) is awful to contemplate.

He was also a GBBO presenter for a brief period and is much more "A List" and "high profile", its where i would put my money anyway, not on NF.

I think I know who it is. I made a comment about this person ( I know him vaguely) on Mumsnet and I was contacted by a journalist who was working on an expose about him.

I just told her what I had said in the post and said I didn't want to go on the record.

There's no way they're allocated double that to Russell Brand being a sleaze.

I don't think this is a spoof as Channel 4 would be heavily criticised (possible legal ramifications) for allowing innocent celebs to be named if this is purely a set up to trick the public.

Having watched his video, he's clearly narcissistic with some kind of mania going on. He manipulates information and uses long words and a fast pace to trick people into thinking he knows what he's on about.

He doesn't. He no more enlightened or in the know as anyone else. He's a fraud. Bring on tonight!
