So having got sucked into RBs YT account, I had no idea this is what he'd been doing lately. LOL at him interviewing Tucker Freakin Carlson. Ohhh, this might be SOOO more interesting than I initially thought.

Think he may have been briefly on ITV morning shows, but not the Beeb.

I’ve seen him on some American talk shows. He took a hard right some time ago.
Now he’s “maga” along with the other crazies.

Russell Brand's video doesn't sound convincing at all. Thinly concealed panic and the garbled sentence where he insists it was all "consensual" with a joke afterwards ("too consensual haha" whatever that is supposed to mean??) really doesn't convince me. It would have been better not to make that preemptive video at all. Maybe it will get removed upon advice from PR or lawyers.

He comes across as extremely nervous which you can tell in the body language and slightly shaky voice. Clearly trying to use the mainstream media attacking independent thinkers card as a way to cover up whatever allegations are coming out tomorrow (which almost certainly don't have anything to do with him being right/left/middle wing or whatever else he stands for these days).

I remember RB back in the days, never particularly liked or disliked him but he clearly had his niche and persona. The media was far more misogynistic and scandalous, and this was all before #metoo. I would believe in a heartbeat that "things" happened which are not ok from today's standpoint.

If it's anything related to celebrities, singers or actors, then I couldn't care less.

I saw RB live, he called a religious 17 year olds mum and grandad and was really nasty. His version of consensual when on heroin might be very different to the young adult groupies of the time now they reflect.

Paul H is a dick and def sleeps around, he drinks in a pub v local to me, but I highly doubt anything particularly bad.

Somewhere I read that whilst making a film, RB made a young woman from make up or wardrobe expose her breasts for him because he refused to carry on filming if she didn't. Apparently there was a stand off for a while until she finally did it.

Let's hope whatever breaks that those complicit in it, and those that enabled it, don't escape scrutiny.

DW, ML, and RB I can well believe - they're all a bit sleazy, especially DW and RB. ML split up with his husband, didn't he? Makes you wonder if it's related....

The thing is though, celebrities do sleazy shit all of the time. Why is this such a big deal? Especially when two of them have previously been associated with slimy behaviour? (I believe DW got caught DM'ing teenage girls creepy messages - they were older than 16, but still icky....).

Surely there would have to be more to it to warrant such a high profile Dispatches story? Not just bog-standard sleazy shit.....

I saw this on Twitter a little while ago - suggests there are female comediennes caught up in it too?

SC apparently slept with 1000s of women and used drugs but that doesn’t necessarily mean he did anything wrong. FS just seems so creepy and also seems to have had numerous partners although he likes to go on about being a devout Catholic.

I always felt like the Sachsgate scandal was a big overreaction. I heard the podcast before it was taken down and he was dumb and disrespectful, but that was literally his personality. I wonder if there is anything more behind that.

For those that don’t know, RB had a podcast with another guy (can’t remember his name now) and one day they phoned Andrew Sachs and RB sang a short made up song to his answerphone that included the line ‘because I had sex with your granddaughter’. In the next couple of days the podcast was cancelled and RB disappeared for quite a while
