Naked older man on bike

[Nakedness]

I went cycling yesterdat with DD in an area not far from our house that's usually busy with dog walkers and families cycling, loads of children around.

This older man was riding his bike completely naked, his 'thing' sticking out in full view. Luckily we passed him quickly as he was coming from the opposite direction and my 5 yo DD hasn't noticed as she was concentration on her cycling.

Then an hour later someone on FB posted a pics from around this area of another older naked man cycling in traffic (looks like a different man).

I told DH and he said I should have taken a pic of him and reported him as it's illegal to walk around naked in public. I'm not from this country so forgive my shock, but is this ok in the UK?

Yuk vile and disgusting. Can you imagine the sweaty arse smell and skidmarks on the saddle?
I hope they haven't borrowed the bike from an unsuspecting friend 🤮🤮

Public Nudity is not, as the law stands, a biggie.

If you think it should be, start a campaign.

Back in June - on a very hot day - I happened to be walking down Piccadilly when maybe 200 naked male cyclists rode past.
I was shocked only to the extent of thinking that they’d all end up with badly sunburned willies.
Other than that, it was hilarious.
IIRC there were a couple of women, too.
AFAIk similar events were taking place in other U.K. cities.

Being part of an organised naked bike ride is very different from cycling naked in a popular spot with families in the woods with a metal chastity belt on your penis.

So many women tie themselves in knots trying to explain just why perverted men aren’t. And how they’re ‘so cool’ with men exposing themselves.

It’s also telling the naked bike rides attract a ‘couple of women and hundreds of men.’ Wise up

Indeed it may not be illegal but outside a specific nudist area showing your genitals is pretty anti social at best

He’s a regular! I’ve never seen him but many friends have. It’s a notorious site for men to meet up and disappear into the bushes. Why it’s tolerated is beyond me with all the kids going through there for school.

Oh no! I'm glad you told me that. We've only recently started going there as my DD recently learned to ride her bike so we go there a few times a week now. Only spotted him on Sun late afternoon.

And yes, there are 2 schools there 🙄. Pretty shocking.

It is an open secret. Police well aware. Happy to disperse teenagers from this zone but not naked men. On all sorts of meet up websites etc.. They don’t care.

Grim. And before long women will be conditioned to believe it's totally fine for their kids to be exposed to shit like this.

Sadly some of them already do, the cool gals think it's hilarious and harmless. Children could be traumatised for life after some stranger exposed their genitals to them. If they see parents laughing this kind of thing off how are they going to ask for support?

Lots of references to it not being 'normal'. It is a minority activity, certainly, but there is no requirement that everyone should be 'normal'. There is such a thing as freedom of expression, it's protected in law (article 10 of the ECHR), and naturists are entitled to make use of it.

There may be (I don't know) an escalation from indecent exposure but simply going about your business without clothes is not indecent exposure. The courts have established that mere sight of an uncovered human body is not indecent.

Setting out to alarm people or cause distress is something else entirely and it is deplorable. The law tries to set a reasonable balance between freedom of expression and clearly unacceptable behaviour such as flashing.

Is this thread still going with women tripping over themselves to normalise this? 🙄
