Goats cheese is nice if it's the sort that's delicate and fresh and pyramid shaped and - even better - covered in grey ash. The industrial sort - fat ridged logs - is IMHO not pleasant at all unless grilled and brown and crispy round the edges.
I really like sprouts, cabbage, kale, spring greens etc also mushrooms, olives, capers, swede and celery. And pickled cabbage. Gherkins OK if finely sliced in potato salad.
Always drink coffee black.
I love fizzy water.
I DON'T like cake, sweet biscuits, jam, pastry, chocolate, most sweet fruit. Cranberries at Christmas are a particular hazard, Nor liquorice. Nor sweet relishes/pickles. Nor cream or ice cream, or - urgh - custard.
Not keen on sweet potatoes in abolutely everything savoury, which seems inevitable in some restaurants at the moment. However sweet potato wedges sprinkled with paprika/cayenne/sage/olive oil/salt and baked in a hot oven are ok. But ordinary potatoes better....
Don't eat meat. Or fake meat or fake cheese. Hate soft eggs (soft boiled, soft poached etc) but hard-boiled egg mayo on thin sliced granary bread sandwiches with cress or (less good) watercress and lots of black pepper can be very good indeed.
