Do people hate parma violets? They seem like an odd thing to really dislike! I really like them, and I'm not much of a fan of sweets. My dear departed grandmother's favourite chocolates were violet creams!

Just thinking of things some of my family dislike, but which I love:
Oysters, fennel, anchovies, Swede, liver and coriander.
(But Parma Violets are the work of the devil!)

I don't like offal or shellfish or pineapple on pizza, but I do like licorice, cottage cheese, goats' cheese (and the smell of goats) capers, sardines, bounty bars and Parma violets.

I'm neutral on Turkish delight and raw celery, but like cooked celery.

I love tiny acidic crisp French cornichons, but don't really like other gherkins.

I only like the citrus flavoured wine gums and am not keen on the red and black ones, and most people are the other way around, so we tend to swap.

I love a Bounty! I always forget they're unpopular as they're a crowd pleaser in my house.

I love haggis so much. I was just in Edinburgh for a week and ate some form of haggis or black pudding for every meal. We even had deep fried haggis, black pudding and white pudding from the chipper. Amazing.

I also love liquorice, especially the salty kind you get in Scandinavia.

I usually do Keto though, so
I don’t get to eat haggis and liquorice as much as I’d like. Thankfully I also love sprouts, cabbage and broccoli; if I didn’t being low carb would be very hard!

@SnapBang I used to LOVE Bounty bars, but I hate them now. Way too sweet...
