Liver, kidneys
Sprouts

I bet you smell just like my dear departed dad 😀

pinksavannah · 09/09/2023 15:55

Spam

Love the stuff, never had it as a child so no idea where the obsession came from but I love Spam

OooohAhhhh · 09/09/2023 15:59

Red hot spicy food, sauces & chillies like scotch bonnet etc!
I have chillies with just about everything & have been known to take them to food places with me 🤭

Is anyone going to come on and say they enjoy a Bounty? I’ve always wondered who eats them. Someone MUST be buying them but I can’t recall ever knowing anyone who likes them. They are truly foul.

I used to love milk chocolate Bountys. Have eaten one for years and years though.

SallyWD · 09/09/2023 16:20

Sprouts? Although I know lots of people who like them.

Surely2023IsTheYearForMyRainbowBaby · 09/09/2023 17:13

Celery
Coriander

Witchbitch20 · 09/09/2023 17:20

Gherkins

Hibernatalie · 09/09/2023 17:33

Liquorice, mussels, anchovies, marmite, octopus, squid

Crinklecutchips1 · 09/09/2023 17:39

Not a good but a drink - dry sherry.

Crinklecutchips1 · 09/09/2023 17:39

Food!

UnctuousUnicorns · 09/09/2023 17:41

I'm vegetarian now, but before that, I loved offal. Hearts, kidneys, liver, black pudding - mm, much better than any steak. Sadly no veggie equivalent!

jolaylasofia · 09/09/2023 17:44

the gelatinous fat on meat

UnctuousUnicorns · 09/09/2023 17:44

Oh, and I used to love corned beef hash, made with cb, mashed potato and brown sauce; it was scrumptious. 😋

Blossomandbee · 09/09/2023 17:44

Coffee creams. Gutted they removed them from Roses and similar, but I've never known anyone else who likes them.

I also like Turkish delight and Parma violets which I didn't think was unusual until reading the other posts!

KohlaParasaurus · 09/09/2023 17:45

Since it's Mumsnet, I love ALL THE CARBOHYDRATE, the more refined the better. And Dairy Milk.

And also ...
Black pudding
Mussels
Olives
Cheap Brie that doesn't taste of anything

UnctuousUnicorns · 09/09/2023 17:46

Mmm, yeah, like on pork chops, especially with the crispy edge. Also crispy chicken skin, with the fat underneath, I loved that.

Mrsjayy · 09/09/2023 17:46

Oh I love coffee creams I got them at home bargains last year and dd got me fancy ones too

Wow I’m shocked at so much hatred for goat’s cheese!! It’s something we use a lot when we host dinner parties because it’s always a crowd pleaser with our friends, pretty universal.

Also… black coffee?????? The whole of my workplace drinks this every single morning. Hardly unusual surely?!

I live in an old school village where black coffee is 'modern' and/or 'foreign'. I'm always asked how I can bear to drink it!

I'm not a fan of goat's cheese though!

GellerYeller · 09/09/2023 17:56

Liqorice is a staple round here. Also love aniseed and all the floral sweets-Cherry Lips, Floral Gums, Parma Violets.
Anything ginger, date or fig based and any dried fruit.
Bounty, Turkish Delight… That’s the perks of parenting isn’t it, learning to love the chocs left over that no one else wants!
Marmite yes but not in sandwiches. Any peanut butter(have a colleague who visibly winces at the mention of it). Pineapple on pizza I love.
Celery as long as it’s raw.
Grapefruit, preferably as sour as possible and never with sugar.
I have a friend who will only eat cheese if it’s cooked and another who won’t eat pasta unless it’s tinned and made by Heinz 😂

JosieB68 · 09/09/2023 17:56

Marmite

GellerYeller · 09/09/2023 17:57

And rhubarb…
