I’m currently eating toasted crumpets and my all time favourite peanut butter (meridian dark roast fyi) and it is bringing me SO much joy.

I can’t buy either where I am so when some friend from the U.K. visit they stock me up!

A bloody massive lidnt bar all to myself. Told my kid it had nuts in.

Can I do last thing I drank? I am in a part of Greece which was heavily hit by slugs this week, I live here, not on holiday, but I have a disability and it has been a week from hell. I’ve gotten through it, but there was a coffee shop open today, my favorite one actually, and they gave me a cappuccino on the house. I could have jumped in and gone for a swim… Our Internet still doesn’t work very well, on this particular coffee shop was very badly flooded, I don’t know how they got back on their feet so quickly, but I was so happy. I usually would have scrolled some websites, or read a book though, and I just can’t concentrate on doing those things at the moment

Lunch out today, I had a chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich on toasted thick cut granary bread which had garlic chilli mayo spread on one side and a great guacamole on the other, the fries were cooked to perfection too!
just waiting for my dinner which is Greek, I’ve made some spinach and feta triangles to go with it - I’m looking forward to eating it all 😋

I’m literally eating it now, it’s a lickalix mango and raspberry ice lolly.

I had some delicious Vermentino (light Italian white wine) if you last night-even better that it was on special offer when I bought it!

A raspberry tart with a perfect crispy pastry case, eaten in a café this afternoon. I used to do a lot of baking, and good patisserie still brings me joy.

Some dates... but actually I have a whole bowl of plums to get thru. Right. Gonna tuck in.

A burger on our bbq with a bit of sant auger cheese slightly melted on the top. Delicious!

The scone with butter and homemade blackcurrant jam I had with a cup of tea at 4 o'clock.

On Tues my autistic DS baked a cake for me (apparently I am lovely and he thought I'd like a chocolate cake).

I am biased and you won't believe me when I say its the bestest cake I've ever eaten, but it is.

I had Christmas pudding and thick cream tonight. Not going to help the diet but this always makes me happy 😀

I've just eaten meringue, lemon curd and cream. I'll be happy all evening.

A scone this afternoon. I didn't even bother to split it and spread anything on it, just ate it like a bun. They are from the local bakery and are amazing. I'm about to eat Chinese takeaway so I'm sure that will too x

Rhubarb and custard ice cream. So so good. Just the right amount of sweet and sharp, very creamy, and delicious.

Deep fried battered aubergine with a honey drizzle and feta. Twas lush.

In France atm. Just had an epic dinner of minted peas, duck and then raspberries and chocolate dessert followed by a cheese board. Bloody hell the french know how to eat properly. They take dinner very seriously here.

Sausage roll with chili jam and cheese in. I just made them this evening (well, packet pastry and packet sausage meat, but...). So good.

That sounds amazing, I wonder if I could make it (have a deep fryer).

Pineapple - it’s pretty boring compared to some of these but I do really love pineapple.
