It sounds like it could be a fluid filled cyst , I have had a few of those , large, smooth, tender , pop up out of nowhere .

Fingers crossed. Do you have anything that helps them reduce?

Thank you OP.

I’m not v good at checking but there was no missing my cyst (it’s actually two joined together), it just popped up overnight and definitely wasn’t there before, I have quite small boobs and would have noticed it even if smaller I think.

Annoying re your health insurance but hopefully your appointment won’t be long coming.

Re reducing them, the doctor last night told me they can drain them if you want and particularly if they’re uncomfortable, but there’s a chance they might just fill up again in 24 hours (although they might not, obv) - I’m not a fan of needles and mine is much less tender than when it first appeared so I politely declined the draining offer!

OP can I ask why you think your age affect your 2WW pathway. Just there is a lot of myths amongst health staff that young people don’t really get cancer and that simply isn’t the case.

That's just what I was told.
Googling suggests if you have an unexplained lump and are over 30 then you her referred under the 2ww. Being under 30 requires more boxes to be ticked it seems but I'm not a hcp

Ah ok, I was checking this wasn’t the message you were getting from your GP. I would expect, given your symptoms, that you would under a 2WW and would question if your age was a factor to delay the process. It’s quite astonishing how many seen under that pathway are something other than a malignancy but I know the waiting is awful xxx

@lampyshade Draining feels good , it's the same relief after going to the loo when you are desperate if you get what I mean . The first lump was terryfying because I assumed the worse , the second one the referral was quite long and all through Breast cancer awareness month too , and had shrunk quite a bit by the time of the appointment . Another I had drained at the gp and the next one I just left and it went down naturally which was a bit naughty . then they stopped.
