...never have to think about what to have for dinner each night for the rest of your life?!?!

I'm mid-40s and it's so depressing I may still be choosing what to have for dinner each night for the next 40 or so years Grin

I’d for the £1m, but …. I hear you! 😩

Gettingbysomehow · 29/08/2023 21:10

Most nights I just end up eating cereal after work, I'm too knackered to cook and too tired to eat it.

TerrorOwls · 29/08/2023 21:11

1 million and I'd be getting those prepped meal deliveries.

1 million and I'd be getting those prepped meal deliveries.

This!

Whenwillglorioussummercome · 29/08/2023 21:12

The million in one second, but then I actually enjoy thinking about my dinner every night!

7Worfs · 29/08/2023 21:13

Take the mil, then pay Gordon Ramsay £100,000 to write up a personalised menu plan (14 dinners) for you, then rotate them forever.
I just saved you £900,000.

Baldieheid · 29/08/2023 21:13

£1 million would pay for a chef for quite a few years....

softsweets · 29/08/2023 21:15

You're over thinking it - just get Gousto (or Hello Fresh) It's revolutionary!! :D

Luckydog7 · 29/08/2023 21:15

1m for me too but thats because we could probably retire with 1 million to invest and then have more time to think about food...

Fridaysgirl17 · 29/08/2023 21:16

1 million & I'd sign up to something like hello fresh or something as I quite enjoy cooking & if I have to food in it's not as difficult

NuffSaidSam · 29/08/2023 21:17

I'd take the million, but I'd use some of it to pay someone to come in one day a week and meal plan, shop and batch cook all my meals.

Although if I could choose to be a super hero I'd be Dinner Lady and I'd have the power to just summon up exactly what I want for dinner (and it's tasty and healthy) even when I don't know what I want. It just comes to me. And the dirty plate disappear once they're empty too.

UsingChangeofName · 29/08/2023 21:19

I'd take the million, but I definitely hear you.

At my age, I could retire tomorrow if I had a million, so that would give me just so much more time every day and far fewer things to think about, so hopefully the meal planning wouldn't be such a chore, and I could afford different options too, much more often.

trailsofberries · 29/08/2023 21:21

...never have to think about what to have for dinner each night for the rest of your life?!?!

This sounds terrifyingly ambiguous. 😀. The million most definitely.

Cowlover89 · 29/08/2023 21:21

1 million even tho I hate deciding what to have for tea

PartnersInCrime · 29/08/2023 21:23

It's the worst job of being a mum but I'd take the money!

NeverDropYourMooncup · 29/08/2023 21:23

Ah, the innocence of linear thinkers.

I'd take the mil and outsource the thinking.

Have you not ever heard of the Kobayashi Maru?

JamSandle · 29/08/2023 21:23

Give me the million please.

Jellycatspyjamas · 29/08/2023 21:25

I’ll take the money and pay someone to feed me and the kids.

Simonjt · 29/08/2023 21:25

£1m, I love cooking

SophiaElise · 29/08/2023 21:25

Easy one for me!

Take the million... and continue enjoying dinner planning every night 😆

Pribs a good 20 years, including the food.

lljkk · 29/08/2023 21:30

I like food, not that fussy. £1m would be way cool.

SpeedyMackechnie · 29/08/2023 21:30

softsweets · 29/08/2023 21:15

Agree!! It's been life changing for me (not even exaggerating)

NeedTheSeaside · 29/08/2023 21:30

£1m

TerrorOwls · 29/08/2023 21:31

I don't think a million gets you much these days.
A nice spacious but still fairly modest house is around that or a bit less here in London.
Put a bit aside for the kids and no money left for a personal chef.
