...never have to think about what to have for dinner each night for the rest of your life?!?!

I'm mid-40s and it's so depressing I may still be choosing what to have for dinner each night for the next 40 or so years Grin

Oooooh, hard one. I loathe having to think about what to feed fussy children all the time.

I guess I’d throw money at it given the opportunity!

InSpainTheRain · 29/08/2023 21:41

The one mil... but I use Mindful Chef so mo planning issues here.

Ohthatsabitshit · 29/08/2023 21:47

Just write down what you eat every evening this month. Look at the list when you need inspiration.

tt9 · 29/08/2023 21:50

take 1m, then pay me 500k... I'm a brilliant cook/food adviser. I will meal plan your meals for next 40 years

tt9 · 29/08/2023 21:51

ps you might have to give up your day jobs as my recipes are often overly complicated and require trips to specialist supermarkets (sometimes to other countries or cities) to source ingredients

You're over thinking it - just get Gousto (or Hello Fresh) It's revolutionary!! :D

Nah hello fresh is shit!

Idratherbepaddleboarding · 29/08/2023 21:55

£1 million easy. My DS (14) absolutely loves cooking and just tells me what to buy for him to make for tea. It’s brilliant!

FlatWhiteExtraHot · 29/08/2023 22:00

God I’d definitely turn down the £million to never have to think about dinner again.

mumda · 29/08/2023 22:19

£1m. And a rota of dinners.

ManchesterLu · 29/08/2023 22:26

I mean, I hear what you're saying, but I'll absolutely take the £1mil.

LylaLee · 29/08/2023 22:27

You wish for the dinners and poof

You're serving a life sentence in prison. Or living in an iron lung.

FriedasCarLoad · 29/08/2023 22:32

I bulk cook our meals and have a two week meal rotation, gradually expanding into a 4 week meal rotation.

If my husband or I fancy cooking something different we do so. But other than that I don't have to make any decision.

Life feels easier... definitely going for the money here!

SallyWD · 29/08/2023 22:58

I love planning meals and cooking so I'll take the £1m!

TheChosenTwo · 29/08/2023 23:36

The dinner for sure! I don’t even do the cooking but the decisions kill me off all the same - 1 mill is nowhere near enough for me to consider taking over the meal decisions!

Lilyhatesjaz · 29/08/2023 23:36

I don't really mind meal planning but a million would buy me a house big enough to have a dishwasher, I am really fed up of washing up.

jlpth · 29/08/2023 23:40

I’d take the £million and get hello fresh forever. Hello fresh piss me off by delivering leaking or manky stuff sometimes (or not delivering at all), but I don’t do any thinking, which is the main thing.

Totallyterrific · 29/08/2023 23:59

Id have the £1million and pay someone to cook for me 3 times a week.

Robotalkingrubbish · 30/08/2023 00:03

No contest! I would absolutely hate not being able to choose what I eat. I decide all the time what we’re having. Luckily DH is quite happy for me to decide. Now, about that million! 😳
