How much do you obsess over weather forecasts before a holiday?

I know it's not helpful.

I CANNOT stop.

To be fair, I haven't had an abroad holiday in years, and off to Spain this weekend. Beyond desperate for lots of sun, cannot get off the weather apps. My mood is dictated minute to minute by the changing forecasts.

Some days are now forecast to be partly cloudy 😭

Do you do this too?

@opalescent when it happened in Majorca the first time, we were only there on a 5 day trip - it was a bonus extra holiday for me and the dcs before school restarted. It rained heavily and thundered for the whole of one day - the chap on reception said " if it makes you feel better, it hasn't rained here since may." I remember wondering why that would make me feel better!
I relayed this to a colleague when I got back and it turned out she'd been there in the may.

Then in Menorca last year, it happened again but only for half a day this time. So fingers crossed for next week. Apple app now looking much better

I never obsess about holiday weather. I don't think about it much at all.

And that's why I always have all the wrong clothes.

We're back. It did rain for a few hours one day but having now seen the skiathos footage, I shan't be moaning. Terrible

I'm within that 10 day window now before we go away, so I'm checking the weather every few hours. It's getting progressively wetter where we're going, but what's to be will be.

We got back on Sunday morning and all that stressing and checking was pointless as apart from one day the weather was glorious! 😊
