Sara, aged 10, was found dead in the family home.

The police "want to speak" with Sara's father and his partner, who flew to Pakistan the day before Sara's body was found, and then phoned (don't know who) from there:

The call led officers to the house in Woking where they found the body of Sara who had sustained "multiple and extensive injuries", likely to have been caused over a sustained period of time.

Another child suffers at the hands of those who should care. I hope they get them back from Pakistan but I wonder what the chances of that are.

I feel like every time you hear about one of these cases of child abuse, you think you have heard the worst ever and then another even more wicked case comes along.

This doesn't sit right with me somehow - I know he's been aggressive to his ex wife but I have a feeling he accepts he was responsible for everything purely to protect his current wife?

This shows how depraved this man is what about the other children.
He shouldn't even be here he deliberately married that poor polish lady to get a visa.

I can't get over these monsters feeling sorry for themselves and pathetically trying to get sympathy from the jury. Scum of the earth.

I know. I just feel that no punishment will be sufficient for those monsters!

There should be a ban on children wearing hijab or any kind of covering that could hide physical abuse. Girls shouldnt wear hijab until puberty anyway, so lets keep them safe irregardless of special feelings of adults.

this story has shattered my heart into a million pieces. They didnt care about her at all. A pp said the mum was just a visa marriage, well Sara was just a link to the country and a punching bag, not a person, equal and deserving of respect but a means to an end, a thing to be used and abused. They are monsters. I would not be opposed to the death penalty. For the first time in my life. Irredeemable monsters.

@Weefreetiffany I agree. On this occasion, the death penalty would be an appropriate punishment. Nothing else would suffice!

Thanks for this. I cannot fathom batool and malik simply declining to give evidence. It seems so unfair. Ultimately, it hasn't made a difference to their case. Which is fair.
