I'm thinking of buying a Velvetiser - I love a good hot chocolate. However, I'm wondering if it's one of those items that you use a few times then it's relegated to the back of the cupboard ? Your comments would be appreciated.

Used lots at the beginning then reverted back to using the microwave.

We bought one in the hype, used it for a few months and it's been in a cupboard since, mainly because milk based hot chocolates are so calorific

Used a bit for hot chocolate but DH uses it for coffee everyday with oat milk as it makes fantastic cappuccino apparently.

We use ours a lot in the winter / colder months and we’ve had it for a few years . I didn’t actually buy it though it was given to me . I also don’t use the Hotel Chocolat hot chocolates as we don’t like them .

We use ours a lot in winter, although a friend of mine bought a cheaper version that froths cold milk too, which seems to be a little bit better to me. No regrets though because ours is very pretty.

You won’t regret it!
I use mine daily as I love a hot chocolate. I’ve tried so many different types as I’m fussy and was fed up with the too watery/milky ones. I use barista oat milk and chocolate flakes from a local handmade chocolatier. You don’t just have to use the hotel chocolat ones. It’s my treat as I don’t drink coffee or tea!

I love it. Put away for summer but this will hopefully be our 3rd autumn/winter with it and it’s used regular enough. So good.
