I want a Booth's and Cranston's in mine,

There are no Booth's or Cranston's in my area and I'm going to miss them when we leave.

I love Waitrose and M&S but I need a Booth's please.

What would you have in your area if you could?

Bookshop

TenOhSeven · 16/08/2023 19:42

A nice cake shop that's open in the evenings.
A place that sells pizza by the slice.

Roosmarjin · 16/08/2023 19:43

Decathlon

everetting · 16/08/2023 19:43

Good independence restaurant instead of chains.

LakeDistrictLove · 16/08/2023 19:48

I want a book shop and pizza by the slice too.

Sorry for bit of a derail, but I see this "Booths" mentioned all the time. Especially people going nuts for the Christmas catalogue.

I gather it's a Northern based company... Could anyone advise what the most Southern branch is, or the easiest to access, if you live in East Anglia?

BLT24 · 16/08/2023 19:54

A Neapolitan pizza place

A bookshop cafe

A Gail’s and Joe the juice (or even a nice juice and salad bar)

We have a Waitrose and M&S. Booths is 20 mins away so not too far.

Loub55 · 16/08/2023 20:01

A fishmongers! My small town used to have one years ago but it closed

Agree with Booths too, would love that.

I liked John Lewis when we had one too.

monpetitlapin · 16/08/2023 20:18

Boots
Supercuts
Starbucks
Nero
Sainsbury's
Morrisons
Asda
Lidl
Aldi
Waitrose
Next
H and M
Zara
A fishmonger
A butcher
A single goddamn bakery

I'd take any one off the above list TBH.
We're in a medium town and all the shops are poncy boutique shops!!

MattDamon · 16/08/2023 20:18

Costco
Decent Mexican restaurant.

Redglitter · 16/08/2023 20:19

A coffee shop & a M&S foodhall

Blackcountryexile · 16/08/2023 20:25

@ChristmasCrumpet The most southerly Booths are in Cheshire. Hale Barns and Knutsford so I think it would be a short break destination for you!
The shops are nice but a good delicatessen and butchers would have what Booths stocks.

00100001 · 16/08/2023 20:28

Korean restaurant 😭

CeeJay81 · 16/08/2023 20:29

Primark, rural Wales here. 60 miles to closest one.

EVHead · 16/08/2023 20:30

I don’t know what Booths is but I would like a nice wine/cocktail bar with a pleasant outdoor area. Most of the pubs near me are bloody scary looking. Somewhere women would like to go and not feel intimidated.

EvenlyDetermined · 16/08/2023 20:37

We've got nice pubs. a few independent restaurants, coffee shops and takeaways but the nearest KFC is 10 miles away (as are McDs and BK) and sometimes I really fancy one of them. Deliveroo or Uber eats would be useful too. I'd also like a Chinese restaurant, we only have a takeaway.

Ohyousillydivvy · 16/08/2023 20:38

In my hometown the following would be welcome:
A Uniqlo for good quality basics. Got a primark but the quality is shit
A Booths
Waitrose
Hairdresser

RoseMartha · 16/08/2023 20:41

Costco
Ikea

My teens would like a Bershka.

Bideshi · 16/08/2023 20:42

Definitely a Booths. Failing that a Waitrose.
Also a proper market.

BarbaraofSeville · 16/08/2023 20:44

Ilkley might be closer than Cheshire to East Anglia.

I want a Uniqlo and a Wahaca in Leeds please, that's all.

1ittlegreen · 16/08/2023 20:46

Arket, Joe and the Juice for the tunacado and Itsu. How I miss Itsu.

ranoutofquinoaandprosecco · 16/08/2023 20:47

We have a Booths! Too many outdoor shops and could do with a sushi, noodle restaurant!

Ah bugger.

But thank you for letting me know x
