Good morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa, in my kitchen spot, with the window open so I can hear the birds outside. I'll get some breakfast in a mo when I've decided what I fancy.

There's a couple of wash loads waiting to be done, and a handful of pots to be washed up so I'll sort those in a bit. Not planning on any other housework today though.

Today will be a slow one for us I think. I could do with a day of not much after chemo on Friday and Pride yesterday. I'll probably do some crafting of some sort - maybe work on the top I'm crocheting myself.

The girls said they weren't fussed about doing anything, when I asked last night, so I expect they'll stay in bed quite late then have a moochy kind of day.

We're having gammon for tea. Probably as a roast, I think. It's going in the slow cooker for the day then we'll decide together later on.

Tonight's likely to be shower & early ish night for me. Probably with either a bit of reading, or doom scrolling, in between

We came back from holiday yesterday. Managed to get all the clothes and towels washed and dried yesterday so just the ironing to do at some point today. I need to do some cleaning and then a couple of hours of work. OH is cooking the roast today. It's a miserable day here so we are all going to watch Fantastic Beasts this afternoon on the sofa.

I’m still in bed with a cuppa.

once I’m up I’ll go to the gym and have Some brunch. I need to do some work and catch Up with some friends on the phone that I’ve neglected.

My parents are coming to collect the DC for a week. I should be busy emptying the tumble dryer and packing and getting on with things. Instead I am lying around feeling bored and demotivated.

Thankfully DH had a massive cleaning blitz yesterday so at least the house looks respectable. I am not really pulling my weight (chemo here too is the excuse).

Breakfast is a good idea, guess I'll start with that and then try and get going!

Still lazying in bed (dogs have been out to garden and cats fed). Lazy day here as well - I'll do some work on my Etsy shop, a load of laundry, the kitchen hasn't been tidied from last night, but other than that not a lot!
Yesterday we (me and my daughter) were out and about, bookstore (picked up gifts for my step grandkids), charity shops (DD starts new college course next year so reinventing herself - had a great haul Friday) and left daughter at the library. So she will be chilling today too.
Tomorrow we head to Isle of Wight to visit my son for a couple days.

Good morning Lucysmam and others. I've had breakfast (two coffees, a tea and cheese on toast), towels are in the wash, my dehumidifier is on helping to dry the other clothes and I've tidied up. I'm heading out soon to buy a birthday present for mum. When I get back, I'll put on the dishwasher, tumble dry the towels and iron the clothes. Then do a spot of gardening. In between times, I'll roast a chicken and make a lemon drizzle cake.

Unpacking and lots of laundry as we came back from holiday yesterday. Got no food in for breakfast so we're gonna head down to the greasy spoon cafe down the road for breakfast..also need ro need to do a food shop I suppose.

Moving day! We’re relocating from London to Glasgow and I am so freaking excited but trying to keep a level head. Sat here having a coffee whilst writing a final to do list and trying to calm down three equally excited children.

Well, I was going to lay some turf today but it’s raining so I’m not sure dh will go for that. I’ve just had a lovely hot chocolate and no one in the house is up yet so I’m enjoying the quiet. If no turf I’m going to do a bit of tidying up and then cook a roast chicken. Dh has been made redundant so I’ve also got a job application to do as hoping to get something with more hours.

Maybe doing our annual sort out of the garage and tip-run. It's very grey but not cold, so probably a walk later too.
DS1 is not working today so will be getting on with his dissertation (hopefully) and really looking forward to having his brother back tomorrow after a month travelling round Italy.

Good morning 😊we are dropping ds off up the coast at his grans caravan as he's having a sleepover tonight. We are in Scotland and he starts high school on Wednesday 😱not sure how I'm feeling about that ( he is my only )

Myself and dh are going out for an Indian tonight so looking forward to that. Then will probably read and an early night.

We're eating breakfast and then heading to the Science Museum to go to the Wonderlab with DS4.

Staying in the house and getting over bloody covid!

Been out with the binoculars since dawn watching fledgling sparrow hawks.
Back for bacon and eggs and coffee.
Doing a roast dinner today as my daughter and granddaughter are visiting later.

My whole house is currently napping after an early wake up with the baby, I'm not but I'm listening to the dog snore with the lights off and black out curtains, two years ago I would have literally done anything for this moment.

I have emptied the dishwasher, put a chicken in the slow cooker with carrots and onions and white wine for later. DH has done the potatoes for roasting, I haven’t done a roast for weeks, I might make Yorkshire puddings if I cba.
DDog is sulking because I put a worming tablet down her throat, they’re supposedly palatable and chewable but she flatly refuses to cooperate.
I will get cracking on sorting out my watercolour paints and setting up a palette in a bit, I’ve been prevaricating for ages and I need to actually do it!
Then I might do some painting, my concentration is crap at the moment, I can’t settle to anything 🙄

Going to look at Campervans and out for Sunday lunch and then to a classic car show, just a small one. Yes we are past small children stage. Will watch next couple of episodes of the Handmaids tale. I have watched them all and rewatching with DH. We are drinking tea in bed, just heard movement either DS or his GF who got home late last night. Cat is now yowling and demanding second breakfast.

Was up at 6 as DPup - who is finally now sleeping through at least - needed a wee. Had a cuppa and have just taken DDog and DPup to the beach for a walk/run.

They’re now fast asleep and I have another cuppa! Then I need to go to Pets at Home later for some doggy bits, and write a business plan.

I'm off to see Gran Turismo this morning and then may treat myself to a late lunch out somewhere. I sold my old record collection yesterday so think I might spoil myself a bit before putting the rest towards new guttering 😁

I am currently waiting on delivery of a McDonald's breakfast for me and my dc whilst watching Pokémon (I fucking hate this programme)
Oh is at golf for the day, not sure what my plans are yet. Maybe I'll have more motivation once I've ate!
Kids want a day in the house but I know by 4pm they'll be itching to get out.

We’ve got shippers coming in today as our move is finally here, the smalls and my husband fly out to our home tomorrow, I’m staying here a bit longer to get all those final bits sorted and to get our flat rental ready. Its going to be a bit hectic at home today, so a friend is going to take the children out for us today so they’re not in the way, but also it might be a bit odd to see everything being taken away.

The dog is whinging because I wouldn’t let him destroy a cushion, as he is a Shiba his whinging is actually him just screaming his head off.

I was up at 6 with the toddler. I've cleaned the kitchen due to a mystery smell and given the floors a wipe over with the speed mop, and scrubbed the living room rug with dr beckmanns carpet cleaner. Watching Alan Titchmarsh love your weekend now but my children are assaulting my ears with fighting and talking about Roblox so it's disturbing my chilled out Hygge Sunday vibe

We are having a lazy morning after being out late last night.
Currently on my second coffee in bed while dh is downstairs cleaning out the office.
Dd is also chilling in bed.
Got a good delivery later then dd ,dh and I are heading to late parents in law's house to do some sorting as it's sold then home for curry and a movie for the 3 of us and a catch up with dd1&2 as they live with partners and haven't seen them this week.

I was hoping for a long lie this morning after a late night at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo but I can't seem to sleep beyond 8am anymore. So far I've got a washing on and made myself toast, bacon and scrambled egg which was lovely! DP is still snoring away so I'm pottering about waiting for the Asda delivery and listening to my audiobook 'Girl, Woman, Other', it's really good but I've been listening to it for ages so hopefully I'll finish it today. Later I'm going to go for a walk and bake some brownies. Out for dinner tonight with the in-laws then home to start a new series (haven't decided what yet).

I've been for a swim. Now I'm eating tiffin for breakfast as it's all we have in the house and working up the motivation to go food shopping.

Might see if anyone's around for a cup of tea later.

Got some guests arriving tonight friends of DH's who I don't know very well so I am not really looking forward to that.
