Morning folks - hope everyone’s having a good Saturday so far. I’m feeling chilled as DD14 went to stay with her girlfriend yesterday & isn’t back until tomorrow night. It’s blissful! I’ve taken my meds & will pop up for a shower in a bit. No breakfast yet. Working later then I’m off for just over a week. DH is making his famous sausage pasta for tea. So simple & rustic but delicious. I’ll pick us up some “weekend chocolate “ as we always call it. Did a fairly big shop the other day so just need a few bits & a birthday card. Should do a bit of tidying at some point & the bathroom is way overdue for a clean. I was playing the piano last night & could have written my name in the dust on the lid!

Morning. Washing machine has just gone on, going to clean the bathroom next.
Will be out with dogs over the fields after I’ve cleaned the bathroom and had a shower.
I’ve been having radiotherapy this week and have the weekend ‘off’. It’s a good feeling!

I’m having a spinach and protein smoothie and about to have a coffee. DCs are up and in footy kit and having breakfast (and watching chess on you tube). Today is the first training of the season. We’ll be up at the club till 12.

Then hopefully watching the lionesses win this afternoon.

Nothing. Everyone else asleep. I'm laying in bed scrolling, looking at new beds and mattresses contemplating how big we could fit in our room. My back is in bits day after day and we've had our bed around 8 years. Need to wake youngest up soon as she has swimming lesson this morning

We have family staying for the weekend. Most people not up yet. I've had a peaceful cup of tea and have put the breadmaker on to make bread for lunch. I'm looking out at the weather - it's supposed to hammer with rain all morning, so we'll all probably stay in and play board games etc and then go out somewhere nice for a dog walk after lunch. Dh is doing a bbq for dinner.

Ds's 16th birthday today. We're all up and had coffee/juice and are in the process of getting ready to go out for breakfast. In our house, the birthday haver gets to dictate the day and ds has requested: breakfast out, home for presents and cards followed by tea and cake, doesn't know what he wants to do this afternoon, a homemade curry with all the sides for dinner and a film later. He has some SEN and is very young for his age in some ways, has friends but doesn't like socialising much so this is his perfect day

Morning everyone. I'm the only one up and I'm sat on the couch listening to the pouring rain. Its the last weekend of the school holidays here in Scotland and its wet. The poor kids have had the worst summer to be off. Luckily my kids are grown and its not my problem but i feel for the parents!!
Today I'd love to go a run to the east neuk but its a long way away and im wary if travelling just to be sat in the rain!!
I don't want to hang round the house cleaning, although like you op the bathroom needs a clean.
And can you give me the sausage pasts recipe, sounds delicious!!!

We've just come back from holiday and are waiting for the arrival of our cat from the cattery. We don't have any breakfast in the house and I'm still in my jammies.

I have the holiday blues. Every time I walk around my house I wish it was like where we had just stayed and more luxurious. I'm an architect myself and still can't figure it all out 😔

DH woke everyone up at 6am after some paranoid dream that he was in the sixth sense or something knob. I've put a load of washing on and the dishwasher is on, and I've made French toast for us all except DS who thinks a packet of crisps is the height of culinary excellence. I am going to read today and the kids can have screens, it's been a busy few weeks and we're a bit skint this weekend

Morning all. I'm the only one awake so far. I've fed the cat, put a wash on and made a coffee. I've just done Wordle and am off for another coffee soon.

Just got back from my 3rd night shift, everyone else is in bed.

Last free day of two weeks leave. I've drank a pot of tea and read a chapter of my book. Saturday mornings are my favourite as the cleaner comes on a Friday and there isn't a single job to be done!

Bacon butties when the teens wake up.

Then I fully intend not to move all day. Finish my book and have internet browsing for breaks. Will stay in my pjs then have an afternoon bath and put clean pjs on.

Takeaway for tea and Saturday night crap tv.

The ultimate (albeit very rare) lazy day!

Getting sorted, dog walked early at 6 am, DH is going shopping to get us some lunch, then watch the women’s football at 11.30, have lunch, walk dog and then visiting family for BBQ (hopefully outside) late afternoon. DH has just gotten over man flu, thank goodness, but adult DS2 is now suffering, he’s staying home.

Watching the Australia/France match. Trying to persuade DH to take the day off on Wednesday if England win their match today so we can go out to watch it.

Got friends coming later to stay the night so I really need to clean the bathroom and spare room at some point.

It's finally warm here so we're off to the beach today. I actually hate the beach but the children love it so I have no choice! So I'm getting myself ready, their breakfast and bags! Almost finished braiding my hair then I've got 2 more people to braid. Good thing I enjoy it!

DD at work. DH at gym. Washing machine on, I'm messing around on laptop instead of getting dressed, but am about to go and change, have breakfast and do an online exercise class before DH gets back.

Need to sort out some funeral flowers today. DH and myself were away in the week, so rest of the day is a case of sorting rest of packing and other things out, and chilling. We'll all probably feel tired later as DD had eight hours between shifts, so I stayed up to have a meal ready for her and then could hear her getting ready at 5am. DH cooking a risotto tonight.

Morning @MeinKraft I am! Up later than usual & beaten to it 🤣 I was awake aaaages last night thanks to the pre-chemo steroid 🙄

I'm just having breakfast and brewing my pot of tea. Will put the washer on after that, and maybe wash the few pots so they're not there when we get back.

We're off to our local Pride festival on a local park today, if the rain holds off. Dd1 suggested we walk with the parade but I don't think I'm up for that, and a wander round what's set up on the park, today. We'll probably park in front of the radio station stage like last year for a couple of hours.

We'll definitely eat from one of the food vans that will be there, if we go, then I don't need to put brain power into deciding what's for tea.

Tonight will be a shower, crochet in front of Food Network (maybe I should venture to another channel), and a fairly early night for me. Dd2's making the most of late nights so will be up late watching a film. Dd1 usually heads to bed at a more reasonable 11pm.

My husband is away for a stag this weekend so it's just me and our toddler. I'm having a lazy lie in while I wait for him to wake up and we're meeting friends to go to a wildlife park later.

we got back from holiday late lastnight and everything is still in my car so at some point I have to go and get it all and unpack/wash etc! Have had two cups of tea and going to make another.

I live on my own and have absolutely no reason to get out of bed. I did wander downstairs for a packet of Nik Naks for breakfast however 😋

I've got a guy coming this evening to buy my record collection, though, so I must get up at some point!

I am in bed with ddog at my feet. DH just getting ready to go to work, Planning to get up soon. Change bedclothes, have a coffee, clean ensuite, finish my book have a shower DH finish work about 3. We'll head out for an afternoon drink , shop for dinner probably prawn stir-fry. Watch a movie 🎬. Weather is warm and dry here.

I'm currently enjoying a coffee in bed while DH entertains our DDs downstairs! We are taking them to an adventure park today, so it won't be a relaxing one, but I'm looking forward to seeing them enjoy themselves.

I'm in a YouTube dark hole whilst my toddler naps my husband is a bit poorly today so he's having a nap too.

Just been to the shop for a paper and croissants. This is our last morning without the kids so making the most of it!

DP’s got some work to do then he’ll mow the lawn. I’m on pick up duty after lunch - they’ve been at my mum’s for the week.

Sausages for tea. And veg. Doesn’t sound like they’ve SEEN a vegetable since they left last weekend 🤦‍♀️. They’ve had a brilliant time though, we’re all very lucky to have such fab GPs.
