What’s Happening In Your House?

Morning folks - hope everyone’s having a good Saturday so far. I’m feeling chilled as DD14 went to stay with her girlfriend yesterday & isn’t back until tomorrow night. It’s blissful! I’ve taken my meds & will pop up for a shower in a bit. No breakfast yet. Working later then I’m off for just over a week. DH is making his famous sausage pasta for tea. So simple & rustic but delicious. I’ll pick us up some “weekend chocolate “ as we always call it. Did a fairly big shop the other day so just need a few bits & a birthday card. Should do a bit of tidying at some point & the bathroom is way overdue for a clean. I was playing the piano last night & could have written my name in the dust on the lid!

Sat in bed with a cup of tea. We have family visiting later so the house needs a bit of a clean but DH is a frenzy of activity this morning. I didn't know about the lionesses match but I suspect that explains the 8am cleaning from DH! I should probably get up and help but I had the idea yesterday that I might spruce up the conservatory a bit, just a lick of paint or something but now that's pretty much all I can think about! I have an hour or so of work to do too. You know when your brain is telling your body to get up and on with the day but your body just isn't playing ball?

Quiet morning here, kids are playing quietly by themselves, partner and I enjoying a cup of tea. I’ve got work tomorrow so need to get bits ready, also need to give the garden a tidy up and start getting things ready for autumn.

I've cleaned fridge, started a cross word, sorted washing and put machine on. DH is walking the dog. DS and his DP are in bed trying to will baby to go back to sleep😂.

Me - food prep for this evening
DD - just heading out to work
DS - still asleep

Dd stayed at a friends so she's not back yet.

Ds1 appeared briefly for water, that was a huge shock to see him before the afternoon!

Ds2 and I have been packing up the shed ready for moving but we are having a break. So I'm having a coffee and cuddle with the dog.

Morning all!

Not up to much here this morning so far just pottering around. Ive got a few bags to take to the charity shop, need to change our bed, laundry to put away, nothing exciting 😂

This afternoon we are off swimming we usually go at some point on the weekend, annual pass so make the most of it!

Chilli in the slow cooker for dinner, looking forward to that it's a drizzly day here so a warming chilli will be good.

DH off out tonight so I've got the TV to myself!

@BitOutOfPractice thanks - we saw the first half hour up at the club and have rushed home for the rest of it! 🤪😁

Lionesses with a late brunch at the moment.

Need to do some shopping and hopefully back in time for the rugby. May also watch AJ's fight tonight if I can stay awake.

Homemade burgers and dirty fries for tea which I can't wait for after weeks of dieting.
