Why do so many people on here now avoid swearing?

I don’t mean that they use different words but they write stuff like sh1t, f*k and cnt. Why do that? I’m going to read f**k as fuck, you know it means fuck, so just damn well write fuck.

Conditioning. I don't particularly like saying or writing it but in some instances you need to get the rage out.

It doesn't bother me reading it in either form. Why does it bother you that much?

I always assume they're fairly new and don't realise we can swear.

Some people don't feel comfortable swearing and that's fine. I find it embarrassing when people feel the need to question people writing f*. Why do you give a shit what others do? It reminds me of being a child and thinking you were so naughty because you were swearing.

See I totally get that but what I (and it seems the OP too) don't get is if you're not comfortable swearing, why would you then swear?

Typing f**k is actually swearing. We all know they mean fuck and we read it as fuck so if they're comfortable using the word fuck, why not add the extra letters?

If someone didn't feel comfortable swearing, they wouldn't type it at all.
