And then they…eat a Cornish pasty with a knife and fork.
25 years I’ve known them. Or thought I knew them.

Anyone discovered anything as dramatic as this about someone they thought was rock-solid 😂?

Cornish pasty on its own-no knife and fork

Eaten with mash and gravy or chips and peas then knife and fork

Mash? Chips??

A Cornish Pasty is an all inclusive meal in itself. It brings its own potatoes and vegetables to the table.

Gravy, indeed.

😱

Visited long-married friends recently and discovered that HE slept on the left (when looking at headboard from foot) side of the bed, and HER on the right ....am considering ghosting them

But if he’s right handed …..
They need him to sleep on the left, don’t they?

went out for lunch and a few of us ordered a toasted sandwich, a friend offered me a knife and fork and I pointed to my plate and laughed and said it was a toastie! and they then went on to eat theirs with a knife and fork, never seen that before I thought it was very odd 😂

I always eat a toastie with a knife and fork.

Oh I'm in trouble. I love pineapple on pizza and fry's Turkish delight. I sleep on the side nearest the door and I pronounce mischievous both ways...depending on what day/moment you catch me.

FeigningConcern · 13/08/2023 22:46

....I also eat pizza with a knife and fork. I'll get my coat.

Is the bed thing like the road thing, where men are 'supposed' to walk on the pavement on the side closest to the traffic to protect the woman? In the bed, it's closest to the door for protection?... no idea, I'm just thinking out loud.

Yes, according to my dh.

Do you sleep different sides every night?! 😳

We swap sides depending on whether we are sleeping at mine or his. Me R Him L at mine, him R me L at his. God help us if we ever move in together 🤔

Shurleyknot · 14/08/2023 02:46

The whole sides thing is odd to me. Surely it is easier to have your own side on a bed and have your own things on your side? Like say dp takes rennies and has sinus issues so tissues his side, I take bp meds which live my side along with my kindle. I cannot imagine not having a side in the bed. Im alone tonight and would not dream of sleeping the other side of the bed!

My Dad used to eat absolutely everything with a knife and fork. Drove me nuts!
