Has anyone else got a really dysfunctional family?

My mum has EUPD and we had to fend for ourselves a lot as kids. Home life was chaotic and my mum would frequently have emotional outbursts. We were screamed at A LOT. My dad is an alcoholic criminal. My mum is NC with her parents due to emotional and physical abuse.
Make me feel like I'm not the only one?

Mine too. Four of my relatives killed themselves, two by violent methods, great aunt jumped off a bridge, uncle shot himself in the head in bed while kids downstairs, two died from overdoses, one only 17, the other a middle aged aunt who was barbiturate addict.
Narcissist mother, violent father, four of my aunts and uncles died as babies, grandpa alcoholic, sister sectioned after suicide attempt and went through four abusive marriages with violent partners who scarred her for life, daughter hanged herself twice with severe depression but survived.
A psychiatrist colleague once described me as “the only sane member of a wildly dysfunctional family”, and even I have some problems, being autistic!
You are definitely not alone, OP. I sometimes think totally normal families don’t exist - they are rare in my experience.
