LA - passed through airport on way to/from New Zealand. My only times ever in the USA!

I was talking to dh about this yesterday. My mil lives right near Stonehenge. We must of driven past it hundreds of time but I’ve never stopped and had a closer look (I then looked a the entry prices and I don’t think I’ll bother)!

Get on it the next time you see it. Once in a lifetime opportunity.

Andorra. Driving from Spain to France. We stopped for lunch.

Also Madrid. On our way to the coast, we stopped to fill up with petrol.

Birmingham. Through it on the M6 hundreds of times but never actually been there.

This has made me smile because DP always points out the Walsall stadium on the rare occasions we pass it on the M6. It's near an RAC building isn't it?

I once had a wonderful view of the pyramids from a plane. I don't think I will ever get to visit them.

Definitely Stonehenge, also Westminster Abbey, just too expensive.

Las Vegas, in 1992. Drove straight through between National Parks. During the day so didn't get the full effect. I'm into the outdoors and natural landscapes so LV did not appeal at all

I always feel a bit sad transiting through places and not giving them proper attention!

As well as common hub airports like Frankfurt where I've never even left the terminal, there are loads of places I've just lobbed up, done a work thing and left without having time for a look around. Hope to get back to most of them one day.
