What colour are your eyes?

Just out of curiosity

I have green
Dh has blue
Ds has blue
Dd has a blue/green mix

Mine are dark brown

Ex's are blue

DC1 has greeny-blue
DC2 has hazel, although now they're older they're more on the brown side of hazel than the greeny-brown they had when they were younger

Mine are blue, both my parents have grey eyes. My DP's are blue and both our children have blue eyes!

Grey with green bits. I'd say 'muddy puddle' if it was a paint colour. Very bland.

We’re green and dark brown eyed and our children’s are bright blue.

My parents had brown eyes, three of my grandparents had brown eyes, one had blue.

DH's side are all blue or grey.

Were it not for my one blue eyed grandma, I believe the dc would be brown eyed.

Someone on here explained that to me as I was surprised the dc were not brown eyed. They are also fair like dh.

They've always been hazel but when I was younger they were more brown. These days the green part has gone like a moss green shade and the brown is more golden. They're much more green than brown too.
My mum had green eyes, dad brown 🙂

Grey, a very dull grey really so not very glamorous, from a distance they look a bit nondescript. Like the English Channel on a gloomy day type of shade.

One parent had very light blue eyes and the other has central heterochromia and their eyes are a dark greenish blue with hazel bursts around the iris.

Grey blue like my mum.

Blue grey but certain shades of green make them more green. My nana (DM’s mother) had green eyes so maybe that’s where that comes from.

I have Blue. DH has hazel.

@SkaneTos I like the green too. I think it’s more grey/teal in this photo. (It’s very hard to take photos of your own eyeballs!) A lot of people assume that my eyes are blue because I’m very blonde. I think my DH only noticed a year or two into our relationship that they weren’t.

My DD has amber eyes. Mine are green and her dad's were dark brown.

A lot of green eyes on this thread considering it's supposed to be the rarest eye colour.

when people say green eyes do they mean hazel? I have lots of people in my family with greeny/blue eyes but have never seen pure green eyes but everyone on MNs seems to have them?!

Mine used to be brown but medication has changed their colour. Now very dark brown, my pupils are almost indistinguishable. I don’t like it.

Mine are all green. I actually googled as I wasn’t sure what Hazel eyes meant. My dads were the same. Scottish, probably Pictish, heritage.
